Want a smile on? Try this McDonalds location here at Union! While it may seem average to the naked eye, there are many things about this store that make it as good as it could possibly get. For one thing, there are many things to do in this area. Thrift stores, restaurants, businesses, much more. Not only that, they are so close together in one area, that it makes it real easy to pick and choose where to go while driving. One should also note that this is on Union, so... take caution. There are some strange people around here. However, none of that interferes with your experience at this McDonalds franchise. Now, as far as service goes, I must say that this particular location takes at least half a cake. The workers are nice and care about customer needs. While it may sound "silly" to rate a fast-food place based on service, it only sounds silly if one has their ears popped off. Service should be the number one priority at ANY restaurant. I tell you, there is NOTHING worse than going to a "wonderful-looking restaurant" just to receive rude service and cold food. Fast-food is not as big of a priority, BUT it still is as is. If a store can't serve me nice, screw it. Anyways, back to my review. The food here is also good. They come out hot and fresh. My french fries come out hot, and my ice cream comes out cold. Great stuff! I should also note that they are fast here. I have been here about... 60 times in the last 6 months. My findings are that there is almost never a moment of having to wait for food. There should be a mention about the atmosphere here. The atmosphere is... wonderful! Seriously! They are always clean here! Plus, it is so nice to look out a window while licking an ice cream cone. In conclusion, if you are looking for some restaurant junk-food, give this place a try. My Rating: 6.5 Cheeses out of 10 (ALRIGHT)
This is a little McDonald's inside a Chevron Quick Stop. It's better than most gas station eateries and it's very busy at rush hour. It's the only McD's this far west in Bakersfield and it gets a lot of the Rosedale area business. As busy as they are they are fast friendly and most important they usually get you order right, even in the drive through. This location used to have a local theme featuring pictures and such from local recording artists like Buck Owens. They have recently redecorated with a more generic decor.
I ordered the #10, the 5 mini churros and a cheesecake. I can honestly say that was the best grilled chicken sandwich I have EVER EATEN IN MY LIFE. And the mini churros were to die for. I almost called and told them how good everything was but I didn't want to sound crazy. Jack in the box on Stine... amazing. thank u!
they make it the way you want it and as much as you want-- no skimping there- very friendly people, always smiling and they take lunch orders over the phone when i am busy and cant wait in line. they rate more than 5 stars but thats all they have here 10 stars to subway thank guys. charlene big o tires
This Drive-In has the BEST Pastrami Sandwiches in town. From the grilled bun to the peproncinis..un-equaled in Bakersfield, and their homemade fried oies are blissfully yummie. I have gone there for years and they have maintained their quality of their food throughout. Rockin Fried Burritos too.
I really miss this place, there is no Panda express in this part of the US. If you like good chinese food without paying top dollar, you should try PE. They will also let you sample foods before buying them. The food is fresh, good and a great price.
The service was great, the gals were very friendly and the food was sensational. The beef and chicken was delicious and everything was an enjoyable time. Someplace we keep returning too, like the vegetable option. Thanks, see you again soon
I always visit this Burger King for breakfast. I love the service and I look forward to Vicky taking my order. The food is prepared great each time. I've been to other Burger King restaurants but this one has the best service and food.
I have been going to adres since i was 1 years old the owner Joe was a very good friend of the family. I have always loved the homeade fried pies. The family would dive down from Modesto, and we always had to go to see Mr. Andres.
I pick up newspapers everynight at the printing plant nearby. So great to have Jack and his peeps ready to cook me up something. Some of his peeps are hard to understand over the intercom though.
