Greens in constant disrepair, burned or fungus. Bunkers lack sand and raking poor conditions all around not worth money!

it is a great course, don't get me wrong, but it's just so buisy all the time. it is also the most expensive public golf course in Bakersfield. when i pay 60+ for a green fee (+ cart) i dont' want to have to wait 15 minutes after every shot i take. i think that they make too many tee times right on top of each other and overbook the course. i even ask the guys at the pro desk if it's very buisy but only the younger kids are honest, while the older adults would say anything to get you to fork over your 60 bucks. you want to avoide the water and the houses. i asked a resident how often his house gets hit by balls and he said "all the time" all the windows are the same size so it always costs the same to get one fixed ($160). if you happen to go when it's not too buisy your almost guaranteed to have a good time. but if you don't have a lot of patience it might end up being a 6 hour headache.
