The Garden center has BAD customer service!! It's okay if you don't need the help but when you are looking for items they either point to the direction or they just say that whatever there is on the shelf that's all there is. They can do better than that. I don't go at all unless I know they have it. Which is not the place I think of going as my first option but last.
We replaced half our windows in February, in July we order the other half...it is now October we are still short 1 window...4xs we ordered this 1 last window...wrong style, wrong size, cracked frame, I was told they were ordering it a rush on 9-26..today 10/6..I checked on the status oh he ordered it yesterday...????? Do I trust this info..not really...but I'll check back Monday. Getting frustrated....trying to remain positive and calm.
If you would like to receive undamaged items from an online purchase, use Amazon instead. I've ordered items online twice from Home Depot within a year span. Each time the items were damaged. The blame was shifted to UPS but as I noticed, the items are not packaged with any care..no bubble wrap, padding or even a piece of paper to help prevent damage. The item is just floating in the damaged box. Apparently, Home Depot is aware of their shipping problem yet nothing has changed in a year. After my item was found damaged, the salesperson attempted to order the item again but it's out of stock and unknown when they will be back in stock. So don't waste your time with Home Depot online orders!
This Home Depot is okay. The selection isn't as good as other ones. It's hard to find someone to help you.
Somebody needs to fix their online ordering. Their website will take your money even when they don't have the materials in stock. They say they have it but when you get there they don't. Then you have to wait several days too get your money back

Do not expect using the Pro desk to save you time picking up online orders. Bring many copies of your receipt as the teenager who runs it will throw away your paperwork and ignore your request for pickup for at least an hour. Complain to the asst mgr , and you will get the ice cold treatment, and he will treat you as if YOU are the problem, and insult you by suggesting you to NOT use the pro desk. Outrageous. I can only imagine the hundreds of thousands in business lost, by HD and their customers, due this clueless and aggravating experience that is guaranteed to raise your blood pressure. I truly don’t understand blaming the customer, when the whole point about the Pro desk is to save time and stress. It does exactly the opposite and this lifelong house flipper and builder, is now taking his checkbook to the blue L sign store , where the lines are shorter, and the attitude is at least apologetic when a mistake is made.
