The sales staff here is great to work with! After being treated like a fool by Car-Max in Bakersfield and feeling kinda sleazy when I left there. My wife said, lets go to a VW dealer and see if they will offer us a fair value my 2500HD dura max diesel truck, very nice truck. Car-max offered me a sleazy $11k, and wanted to over charge me for a 2010, bottom line bug for $14.5 and it had 49k miles on it, aaaannnd! It had a problem with the steering column where you had to wiggle the steering wheel at the same time you wiggle the key. The sales girl said as is! My truck was obviously worth more than their fixer and they knew it, but disrespectful in their offer anyway. So we ended up at Family Motors, and I was still fuming from my car-max experience and just looking for any sign of sleaze ball sales tricks....and it NEVER happened! From my first contact with the sales staff all the way to me driving my new car off the lot, I felt like I was winning the sales battle. Here's the thing though, I never had to get up-set to be treated with respect and fairly. They just really care! I ended up getting $15k for trade in, $4000.00 more than Car-max on my trade in, in house Volkswagen financing at 7.9%, plus extended warranty for 60 months on a 2012, 2.0L Turbo Beetle with 12k miles obit for right at $274 a month....and I'm buying! Chuy and the finance dept just exceeded all my expectations, I thought I was going to have to fight to be treated fairly, and no fight was ever needed. I'm still feeling like a winner and can't say enough about Family Motors knowledge within their sales staff. You have all restored my faith in a fair deal and service first oriented car dealer. Frankly, I'm amazed at some of the comments below because this was not my experience with BCJ at all! I came in on October 31st, tired from working all day and burnt out from doing car searches out of town where it seemed no matter how much I wanted to put down they wanted double, and I was pleasantly surprised by the reception I received. PETER DE KELES is not only a bright and funny young man, but very professional and pleasant to deal with. I've been into places where the sales staff is either licking their chops over you or trying to steer you into something you don't want. This was not the case with Peter! He was extremely knowledgable about the vehicles on the lot and not at all pushy or insistent I try anything out that I was not interested in. I told him which vehicle I wanted and after a test drive and credit app I was able to drive off the lot in it, cleaned, fueled up and ready to go. I was able to get a 5 year 100k mile warranty with the vehicle, the price was below blue book, and I brought my finance app (love those things) and determined there were no hidden fees that they tried to slide in which I had encountered in the past. Everything was positive, above board and ENJOYABLE....never thought I'd use that word describing a vehicle purchase! Mirna in finance was also very pleasant to deal with. She was very communicative both in the initial interview and also during the following when they secured financing from the bank. She was always on the phone with me when information was requested and was always available when I called back. I definitely recommend Bakersfield Chrysler Jeep Dodge to anyone wanting a good selection and great customer service!
Let me tell you about our experience with a great customer service rep at Mazda. Paul Lopez. This man worked for us. After being turned down at 2 dealerships our credit isn't the best, but we have income. Paul went to work for us. Now I have to say it took some work on his part, and a lot of patience and yes we needed a cosigner. BUT he made sure my family got into a car that we could afford without over extending ourselves. We had certain parameters to be met. So he went to work with his manager and his finance manager and their team, and found a bank that would finance us. After their hard work we came in and drove home with our new car (well new to us). A 2013 Mazda CX-5. A we are in love. I never thought much about Mazda, but once Paul told us what would be in our price range, I did some research on this vehicle. The big plug was from Car & Driver Magazine online, they really raved about this car. And after 1 day having it, I can't believe this is a small SUV. Because it drives like a little sports car, with lots of great creature comforts, great gas mileage, and some serious torque and HP for a little in-line 4. So if you are in the Market for a New or Used car, consider a Mazda, and ask for Paul Lopez. You will never meet a more friendly, straight forward guy. My husband and I were looking all over to purchase a New Car, I had been to dealerhip after dealership and over & over it was the same thing we can't help you your credit score is too low. I was just about to give up when a friend suggested Bakersfield Mazda. I went down there with my husband and we actually got qualifed and they were able to help us buy a new car. I am so happy with my Mazda CX7, the staff was so helpful with all of my husbands questions and there were a lot of them. I was givin a tour of the facility including the Service & Parts department and I ended up ordering some accessories on the spot for my new car. I thought it was so nice that there is still trustworthy dealership like Bakesrfield Mazda out there.
I really love when I can go into a car dealership and I don't feel like I'm getting taken advantage of. It's nice to feel as though the sales person isn't "selling you". Yesterday I purchased my first NEW vehicle and I couldn't be happier with the experience I had with the sales representative and the FIAT dealership. Justin was very informative and friendly, the finance representatives were very knowledgeable and the staff accommodated all of my needs. I purchased a FIAT 500E, It's all electric! No gas, no maintenance and an affordable monthly payment. I will be recommending friends and family to FIAT and I will encourage them to take advantage of the electric car incentives.
I went to Bakersfield Mitsubishi recently after doing a ton of research online, I am was shopping to buy the new 2014 Outlander. When I arrived at Mitsubishi I was greeted by 3 different salesman lol I chose one and we got started right away with the car I knew I had wanted. My Salesman was very nice and he took me for a test drive and showed me all the feauture's the vehicle had to offer. I was sold on it instantly and then we started the paperwork process, which was actually a lot shorter than I thought it was going to take. So I love my new car and I didn't feel taken advantage of so not all Salesman are jerks. Thank Bakersfield Mitsubishi!!!!

I have credit issues, and I've been treated like a pariah by every other dealership in town. Haddad Dodge treated me as if I was their favorite customer, going far beyond the expected action and effort on their part to ensure I was a satisfied customer. I cannot say enough to suggest the appreciation I feel towards them for treating me like a man. If there ever is a time when I can purchase a vehicle, it will most definatley be purchased from Haddad Dodge. I just bought a brand new Mazda5 from Bakersfield Mazda, I was given a complete tour of the Service department by a lady named Alisha in Customer Relations. I as a customer thought this was very helpful, I met the whole service staff and since my 1st service appt was months away I at the time did not want to schedule it yet. I now know faces with names and the way I was treated was like family, not like other dealershipes I have purchased from, that once you buy a new car they only want the sale and then forget you!!! I will be a loyal customer for this reason.
