The service, is extremely poor, Food has a bad taste and a bad smell, Atmosphere is dark and gloomy and very depressing the restaurant is a waste of time even going
Best. Food. Ever!We are very picky about our food and China Bistro is clean, efficient and simply the best food around for Chinese foods
Best Chinese food in Bakersfield. Shrimp with Lobster sauce is fantastic and the service is wonderful just wish they were on the west side of Bakersfield
Great food and service made fresh for us glad we found it love it one of my new spots.
prices are expensive rude service due to the rudeness we left
The orange chicken and the chow mein that I had today (first and last visit) was bland and tasteless. It was a free lunch put on by my employer or I would have refused to pay for it. Plus the guest sitting next to me found a hair in her food. It was by far the worst Chinese restaurant I have visited.Disgusting restaurant !!
I used to like this restaurant because of their shrimp (the shrimp is now removed). So I will not eat here anymore even though I'm here with friends watching them eat. Never ever will eat here unless they put back the shrimp with the head on.
I go here often. I only have ever had one issue with cold food, the manager heard about the food and paid for our meal and brought every dish out immediately piping hot. Couldn't be happier with the staff and food!!
So my boyfriend and I wanted chinese good to celebrate the Chinese New Year, so we ordered delivery. Everything was okay at first, but when the found got delivered, it was not what we expected. The food was mediocre, to start. To too it off, we didn't receive the rest of our order. When we called the restaraunt to sort things out, we were told to call delivery service, Restaraunt Runner. So I called them. They were very kind and helpful, and they called the restaraunt. When they called me the man told me that we recieved all of our order and that you have to order items seperately. When I called Ching Yen, a woman answered and when I tried to explain the situation, she became aggregated and told me they didn't even have what I ordered on their menu! I looked up their menu again, and there it was, clear as day! I just gave up and decided it was a waste of time. The woman from Ching Yen refused to help and was conversations with someone else at the restaraunt while I was on the phone with her. Never eating from Ching Yen again! I work in the food industry, so I know how irritating it can be, but there was no reason for her to be so rude.
This is the only place that I've been to where the food still tastes as good as it did 15 years ago. Delicious!!
