Droped my sons off while we girls went to the nail salon. Gave them what the boys wanted and they did a great job. My sons looked great and the cost are extremely reasonable. Thanks guys.
This comment is from Jay the barber himself. My crew and i has the expertise to perform and style there is, from old to new, with visions to create something different that fits the clients. We take appointments. And walks-ins are very welcome! Come in and check us out..
The only problem I had was after having my grandson and I getting a haircut they don't accept credit cards. Lucky I had cash, whereas there was not any notice that they didn't accept the cards.
If I could give this shop a 0 I would. The absolutely WORST barber shop in bakersfield. I went there to cut my sons hair, I asked if he does fades, he rudely replied "of course I am a barber". Well I gave it a go, WORST decision ever. He does not know how to even hold a clipper, he shaves the side of my sons head roughly and cut the top of his hair WAY to short, then he leaves a BALD spot on the side. This man has no idea what he is doing. I am so surprised his shop is even open, customers BEWARE. DO NOT GO HERE.
The barbers are professional, quality service, and treat every customer with respect. This is the best barbershop in Bakersfield in my opinion.
Worst barbers in town. Two surly, silent females with no skills. Will never go back. No skills in hair cutting or talent.
I never risk getting a haircut while traveling. You never know what you'll get. I traveled to Bakersfield on business and absolutely needed a haircut. West Chester Barber Shop was close to my hotel so I gave it a try. Very friendly staff. i showed Justin (?) a picture of my hair that I took after my last haircut. He matched it up perfectly. Couldn't have been happier. I'll always avoid getting cuts on the road but at least when I am in Bakersfield I know a good place to go!
Some of the best guys work here and they all do an amazing job best and I have to say the only place you should go in Bakersfield!!!
I always bring my son here. He loves Wyatt and always wants him to cut his hair. Ive never had an issue with this place, its first come first serve and if you prefer a specific barber, the wait could be longer but hey thats why they have returning clientele. I wouldnt go anywhere else.
I went to this barber shop for the first time because of what people said about it and I had a bad experience. After going with a friend of mine to the shop, no one acknowledged me. My friend was able to get his hair cut and no one asked if I wanted one. There were 4 barbers available with no one in their seats and everyone was too busy on their phones and talking to each other and didn't bother to ask me if I wanted my hair cut. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It seems as if they prefer favoritism. Not only did they not ask if I wanted my hair cut but someone else arrived 10 minutes after me and they said that he would be next. What kind of service is this? Do not go here as they don't know how to cut hair and don't really care about business.
