Excellent staff, excellent care. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because they are EXPENSIVE. I haven't had much contact with the animal health care industry, but $3,000 for less than 48 hrs and no surgery seems like a lot. Aside from how much it cost I have nothing but good things to say about this clinic. They took great notes and I have no doubt my cat was well-cared for and comfortable. They got my "ok" before they did anything, so I knew in advance what it would cost.

My Newfoundland decided to help clean up the antifreeze that leaked from my Husbands car last week. At first, I didn't know what the problem was until that night when a new puddle appeared from under the car. I rushed our boy to the clinic and they examined him and gave me a quote for treatment. By this time, He was having awfully bad convulsions. I wait tables and Gregg is in between jobs, so, I was up front and told them I didn't have any money. I was getting prepared for the only solution left, but the Doctor asks, "well, what do we have to work with"? Turns out that they accepted half down and then we worked out a payment schedule. I've had dogs all my life and been to the Vet more times than I can count and this is the first one that seemed to care about how a large bill would impact our family. I'm going back there for all my animal care from now on. Thanks Guys (and Gals), that big furry Bozo is back to his obnoxious self. Barb

The staff here is so kind, compassionate, and really cares about your animals. If you have an emergency, this is definitely the place to go as they will take care of your pet and respect your pet with dignity just as they do their own. I am very thankful to the staff for helping our dog have a peaceful passing across the Rainbow Bridge. Thank you, Dr. Clare Foley, and the staff at Emerald City Emergency Clinic!

We took our baby dog here this past weekend. He was such a wonderful puppy.

We were in a panic as our baby was very sick and we did not know what was going on. We arrived and the staff greeted us and were nice. Our vet was Dr. Foley and she was AMAZING! She is probably one of the best vets that I have had in a while. Our regular vet is Urban Animal, but they were not open at the time, so we had to seek care at the Emergency Clinic.

Dr. Foley was sure she had a diagnosis, until the radiology reports came back from the X-Rays. It revealed several masses that were potentially cancer. Our baby was in a lot of pain so we made the decision, after talking with Dr. Foley, to euthanize him. The staff made him as comfortable as possible and Dr. Foley was so compassionate and caring. She really invested time into our dog and she cared about his well being in every way that she could. She went over everything in detail, was realistic and not trying to gouge us, and helped us explore all possible (if any) treatment options. She is a very PASSIONATE vet and AWESOME! All of his options would have prolonged his pain and agony, hence our decision. He has now crossed the rainbow bridge, and is pain free, happy, wagging his tail, and playing with butterflies! :)

Our kitty was showing signs of a problem in his nether regions, yeowling and walking weird. It was a Saturday night and I called and spoke to a very helpful person on the phone who suggested we bring him in tonight or just wait until the next morning and call a regular vet, adding that, it would be cheaper to wait.

Concerned that our cat might have a blockage, which can be deadly, we took him in. No waiting once we arrived. The kind lady told us exactly what they were going to do in the back room. About 5 min later, the dr came out and discussed what she thought the issues might be and what she wanted to test him for. She also gave me the cost up front. Her demeanor was wonderful. Very kind, thorough and complimented our cat over and over and kept apologizing for the wait. She was very cheerful and personable.

Our kitty, unfortunately kept blocking, despite their efforts to unblock him. Each doctor I spoke with was patient, kind, and really took the time to answer all my questions. I never ever felt rushed. So far, our cat has been staying here for over a week. They allow visits anytime we want, so long as we give them a heads up about when we are heading over. They are upfront and honest about costs before they do anything. I'm really happy my cat is getting the best care here.

After a traumatic fall, Emerald City Emergency Clinic became my dog's second home. They have taken such stellar care of her and been super responsive to all of my questions and concerns. I wish I could give them 6 stars. Every member of their staff is absolutely top notch and treats my dog like a member of their own family. I have nothing but love for these guys.

I came here in a bit of a panic. I usually like to read reviews of places I visit but my 11 week old puppy was coughing like a goose and I wanted him seen immediately so I went to the first and closest place.

We waited for a little bit (maybe an hour) which seems totally reasonable for a walk in emergency vet.

My puppy was seen by Dr. Corrigan and she was an absolute pleasure! She was very reassuring and knowledgeable. She was also super sweet with him and he absolutely loved her.

I came here to write a five star review anyway but after reading some of the comments I want to say this place is NOT a money pit and does NOT take advantage of scared people. I was sitting with my puppy earlier today thinking he had distemper and was dying (he's totally fine. Googling got the best of me.) so I'm sure it's imaginable what state of worry I was in. Not only did Dr. Corrigan reccomend letting his cough run his course because a little strain of what he had is less harmful than antibiotics would be she didn't even charge me a visitation fee. Super awesome.

I'm glad I went here. Thank you very much!

To all the staff at Emerald City Emergency Clinic: I would like to express my thanks to all of you who answered my questions so patiently and thoroughly on Saturday when my Cocker spanial was in labor. I made several calls and was quite anxious- it was her first litter and niether my husband nor I had been experienced in the dog breeding and puppy delivery before. It is very comforting to be able to call in the middle of a long night and get an answer. Thank you!
