Avon Park, FL Urgent Care

I'm a seasonal resident who was looking for a walk-in clinic. Prior reviews of this clinic didn't deter me since they were focused more on the wait rather than on the actual care that was received. I expect a wait when going into an urgent care or ER. I went today (Saturday) at 4:00pm and, to my surprise, no one was in the waiting room! I was greeted by a pleasant receptionist who gave me paperwork to fill out. I found all paperwork to be legible. I returned it with my insurance card and drivers license. About 15 minutes later I was called back for my vitals. Again, a very pleasant nurse attended to me. She then escorted me to the exam room. I waited in the exam room for about 3 minutes before Doctor Nathanial arrived. I was very comfortable with the Doctor and was extremely pleased with the service that was given to me. I would go back without hesitation. I found this clinic to be neat and clean. This site has an old address. I had to call since I couldn't find the building and was given their new address of 1023 US Highway 27 S.

I am here now.Arrived at 7:45am to be first in line,because they are suppose to open at 8am.The door was opened at 8:20,and I am waiting for the doctor in a room,and it is 8:55.This is only to get a refill, thats it...tick tick tick...

this place sucks, they could careless about your time, I went in to get and DOT physical and a drug test for a new job and I was there for over 3 hours and there was nobody else in the office, if you have anything else you wanna do the same day you go here then you better reschedule because these people are in no hurry to help you, you will be here majority of the day. however doctor Nathaniel allen is very knowledgable and helpful but his staff are unconsiderate of your time.

I am 62 years of age and this was the most disturbing, unprofessional ,medical experience I have ever endured. I arrived at the center around 12 noon on Monday Feb. 1, 2016. I am Canadian and reside in Florida for the winter. I contacted my insurance agency in Canada and asked which walk-in-clinic was associated with my insurance they recommended this facility. After filling out paper work..sat down to wait my tern. About 20 minutes waiting I felt very faint went to the reception window explained that I was feeling faint and would there possibly be a place that I could lie down. No there is not. I knew that I was going to pass out so layed on the floor in the reception area for 45 minutes. At no time did anyone of the assistants come to see if I was ok.Then after 45 minutes went to next room and again had to lie on the floor. Finally saw the ARNP-C for total of 2 min. It was a complete nightmare. This was my first visit to a walk-in and my last. Do not go to this center ever.
