There are plenty of sushi places to choose from in the North Miami area; however, one stands above the rest: Sushi House. A restaurant based on asian-fusion, the food will keep you wanting more. Designed with a modern crowd in mind, Sushi House epitomizes restaurant-chic. Housing several chandaliers, sleek countertops, and dim lighting, the ambience that Sushi House exudes is one of welcoming yet elegant exclusiveness. I suggest making a reservation, because once the late crowd begins to come around it can get a little crowded. But who could blame them? Sushi House is great!

A group of friends and I went to Sushi House this past weekend. I loved it so much, that I was compelled to write this review. From the moment we walked through the door, welcomed by chandaliers, flowing drapery, blue lighting, and sleek furniture, I knew this wou;d be a great dining experience. We were quickly seated. The extensive menu of food and drinks was a little overwhelming (in a good way)--there was something for everyone...even the picky eaters. I had the pan-roasted miso black cod--delicious! My friends said that the sushi was so fresh, so they continued to order more rolls. Our waiter was very nice and was excited to be a part of our first Sushi House experience.
I would definitely go back to Sushi House and try something new on the menu. Everything looked and smelled delicious!

Last Saturday my family and I celebrated my uncle's 25th Wedding Anniversary at Sushi House. We asked for a table of 22 and brought one extra person and thought it wouldn't be a big deal. Apparently we were wrong.
From the beginning the waiter (slightly overweight guy with a goatee) threw attitude our way. They brought out our pre-ordered appetizers without asking anyone for their drink order and only took orders once I said something. We asked for them to bring our grandparents pre-ordered dinner so they could eat since they weren't eating appetizers. When we pointed out that they brought us an incorrect order, their response was, ""too bad, that's what we made"". The poor service continued throughout dinners with requests for help being answered with a condascending, ""I'll be right with you sir"", with no one following up. We ordered our dinner family style and they made everyone eat on tea-cup saucer size plates. When I asked if they could bring out an additional plate for everyone they said they would, but conveniently didn't follow through. A few people requested water at the beginning of dinner, but did not receive it. Bottom line, the wait-staff knew we were obligated to tip them based on the big group and offered sub-par service. If you're looking for a place to go with more than 6 people, look elsewhere.

My husband and I left Miami about 5 months ago and we are convinced we will never taste food like we had at the Sushi House. I feel I have done an injustice by not telling the world what an amazing restaurant this is!
We tried numerous dishes, but always went to the sushi rolls as well. The Volcano is to die for, the tsunami as well, just about all of the rolls will knock your socks off.
If you've discovered the secret that is the Sushi House (Asian Fusion)...you'll never forget it. And if you haven't, you'll tell all of your friends and anyone you meet to try it.
Thank you Sushi House for so many great meals.
