About Search Results

YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

I like these guys. They have almost everything and they don't have an attitude about serving the general public. The only reason I didn't give them five stars is because there is no easy way to tell who's next when there is a crowd in the waiting room.

I am very satisfied with the work that has been done. I usually do not write reviews, but these guys definitely deserve one. They came on time, and they got the job done under budget, which surprised me because many repairman like to sneak in extra costs, but these guys didn't.Thanks Again

Sears Appliance Repair

I wrote a previous disappointing review about our refrigerator. This time it quit cooling and held a temp at 50 degrees. We have a warranty but Sears could not get someone out for about 1 1/2 weeks. We tried to expedite it to no avail. The window was from 8 a.m. to noon. At noon, the repairman showed up. He has been out before and we like him. The tubing in the back had frozen up and needed to be defrosted. Apparently this is unavoidable, has happened before and will happen again. We have had our refrigerator for 5 years now. We have had numerous repairs and realize that to keep it, we have to pay for the expensive warranty service. And, even with that, we can't get service in a reasonable amount of time. My mother's 54 year old freezer just died and her 51 year old refrigerator is still operating in the garage. (The "new" refrigerator is probably about 25 years old). We have already turned down buying a secondary Samsung at a good price because of the problems we have had. I'm not sure there are any long-living appliances anymore. Also concerned about buying the warranty for more than 3 years at a time because of Sears' ongoing disappointing service. It remains to be seen if they will still be around in the near future.

I recently had a visit to check my water heater, I received a quick appointment date, the serviceman came right on time, and he did outstanding work. He checked everything thoroughly and went beyond the call of duty to make sure my water heater was working correctly. He was professional, sweet and explained everything he did and ways to improve my water usage. Overall, great experience from start to finish.

This place is a rip off. They overcharge for parts. I'd never use them again. Many other places offer same items for much lower prices. They also have very bad customer service.

tech sold us invalid warranty ,we paid full price and when i called for service discovered no model # on frig was never documented so no service could be preformed. i was on the phone for over 3 hours over 2 days trying to get my money back. very discouraged Sears has such people working for them. this tech mis- represented and sold us a warranty that could not be honored, how is that promoting a good name for Sears? giving them a one star rating is way to much of a good rating for this mess that we experienced.

The tech arrived almost an hour after the 1-5 PM window. He needed just one minute to see the washer's pedestal was broken (we should have realized) and charged us $101. He didn't explain what it would take to replace or remove it — we googled to find that out — and generally didn't help us AT ALL. He was also rude, ignoring questions and seemingly pretending he didn't hear me. We bought a new washing machine — but not from Sears.

If I could put a negative minus star I would..We bought a craftsman lawn tractor from sears and this was the worst mistake ever. Sears has replace our transmission 3x and we are still having on going transmission problem. This new hydro-static transmission is made out of plastic components with the belts design which allow grass and debris to accumulate on the deck interfering the full operating function of getting the job done. Does not do the work it was advertised. Every time I use this machine I have to call out sears to fix it.

It took a few days for them to get to us, when we had a refrigerator leak. They came out, found the problem, but then it started leaking again. We wish the first guy had discovered the problem, we had a bad water filter, and he told us that, but he did not discover the other problem, so we had to have a repairman out again.

So now I have a part for which (A) I didn't get a publicly known discount (B) was delivered late, (C) was the wrong part, (D) these thieves claim I have used despite showing me examples that looked EXACTLY like my part, and (E) a part that is useless to me know because I bought a new washer that will be here tomorrow. If your machine is old, just go buy a new machine with a solid warranty and avoid the racket that is washer repair. The whole industry of appliance repair is full of crooks. There might be a couple of honest repairmen, but you'll be sure to be taken for your $ more times than not. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS! Just order from reliable parts dot com like they do and save 20% and a lot of hassle.

The repair guy himself was great, but the customer service overall and the product they sell has gone downhill so much over the last 10 years that I am done with them. They sold me a washing machine that didn't work when I bought it and had 4 service calls of 7+ repairs before they had it working. They refused to replace under their lemon law of the extended warranty I purchased with it. Same story when it broke again this time. Just flat out refuse to adhere to their own warranty and do the right thing. I used to buy all Craftsman tools and products, but they quality has gone to be that of the cheap shoddy Chinese made products, but still at the Craftsman premium price. I have tools that break and have to be replaced literally every time I use them in some cases. I will never buy another Craftsman/Sears product and would not be surprised to see this century old company be out of business in the next 5 to 10 years. Bad quality product and bad customer service is its demise.
