Exotic chill bar with lots of fire and one of the secret best burgers in Austin!!! Awesome staff, always a pleasure!
I had recently vistited Twin Peaks for the first time. It's a newer restaurant, and I wanted to try something new. I had walked in, and there was about 10 customers and about seven or eight waitresses. The host never greeted my girlfriend and I, she just asked ""Table for Two?."" After we we…

We ordered our meal and the salad was good until we got to the bottom of the bowl. My wife found what she thought was a piece of tough lettuce. It turned out to be a rubber glove.... Stay Away.
12/26/08 was a Friday night so pootron must have been making this up. He said he ate on a Saturday night. I dined at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse on 12/27/08 and was the best steak I have ever had. I had the bone in ribeye and it was amazing. The service was prompt and casual not stuffy like Perry's.…
14. 24 Diner
One of my favorite restaurants in the city. I literally crashed my car (well, I got rear-ended) on my way for a fried egg sandwich during an ice storm (I'm from Chicago, i thought the roads would be fine!). It's that good. Lots of fresh and local ingredients, unique menu items, and booze! You mi…

From Business: Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger sta…
19. Kona Grill
Kona never fails for happy hour! You do need to be there earlier than the happy hr time because it is elbow to elbow finding a table or even by the bar. For happy hr, their calamari, atlantic roll, avocado wrap, chicken satay and pizza mergharita are the best! and Of course SAKE bomb! For dinner…

26. Guero's Taco Bar
Guero's is so yummy! The food and service are well worth the wait (which never is too long due to the efficiency of the staff). I highly recommend the queso flameado and shrimp fajitas. Everyone seems to be happy at Guero's! .... maybe it's the margaritas, I don't know...
Quick, amazing service and even if there does seem to be a lot of people waiting, it goes super fast because of the size of the sheer restaurant (main area, covered patio area, another small building attached).
So freakin' good. They have me spoiled and comparing every taco shop in Austin to their deliciousness. Highly recommend taking a trip to east Austin for some breakfast tacos. It's worth the drive. This place moves tacos like no other. You'll understand why once you take your first bite. I'm in love! Keep making Austin proud.
Juan in a Million is one of those great places you visit on any trip to Austin, especially that breakfast taco. Come in early and you won't have to wait in line or struggle with parking around the neighborhood. For low prices, great Tex-Mex, there is nothing that could go wrong!
Order the horchata, it was the biggest serving I've ever had and one of the better horchatas I've found in the states. The mahacado con huevo is a must, my friend ordered chorizo and it tasted like chorizo, my dish tasted unlike anything I've ever had before. Will definitely comeback!!
Kerby Lane is a great representation of the Austin culture. The ambiance is very homely and hospitable and the seasonal menu's are unbeatable.
Loved my first experience here! I came here with a visiting friend to get some queso with dinner, and it did not disappoint. We both fell in love with the Kerbey Queso - it had just right amount of thickness to it and mixed wonderfully with the guac. It was also served with salsa, and eating the chips with both the queso and salsa together was magic. We both have been dreaming about the queso ever since.
Delicious and cheap food and drink! Highly suggest it. $1 mimosas, does it get better than that? Yes, their chilaquiles are amazing!
Breakfast tacos lived up to all expectations - and served all day, hooray! It's no wonder you see them coming out of the kitchen in droves. Will definitely recommend this to my friends!!
What a disappointment. They were out of two drinks we tried to order, the waitress forgot to place half our food order with the kitchen, and we had to pay 20% gratuity because we had a party of 6. Will never go back, don't recommend you do either.
