So I wanted to start the new year with nails so I drove over to this salon due to the salon that I regularly go to were closed today. It was early in the morning, asked for a long full set. When cutting the tips two nail were críquet and so I said something but about it, but just blamed my finger. Continued to apply the acrylic all uneven layers and lumpy. Not to happy with them but I guess that’s what I get for not waiting for tmw to go to my salon. I was happy with the nail polish but not the nails.
I have been to so many nail salons in Austin looking for one that I can go to regularly. I have had many bad experiences and in hopes of trying yet again, I walked into Super Star Nails. They greeted me as soon as I walked in the door. Though they were busy, they made sure to seat me somewhere i…

A totally enjoyable experience and you'll have a "good hair" day! This is a VERY friendly salon, with numerous talented women. They even worked me in on a very busy holiday! I can't say enough good things about them all!
I asked for a new set of nails and I got a great set. They even offer a gel application that goes on once they are done that when you take off your polish the gel coating remains unaffected by acetone and your nails are glossy. I never had that done before. Staff very friendly.
I've been to many nail salons before but this one is by far better in service & products used!! I'm addicted to pedicures & can REALLY appreciate great nail techs when they know how to apply gel/solar polish. Last for 2+ weeks on peds & nails.
9. T & S Nails
this used to be my favorite spot for a saturday morning pedicure but things have definitely gone downhill. their massage chairs and foot soak tubs have fallen into disrepair and after almost a year, it doesn't seem as though they'll be doing anything about it. the last time i was there, their …

11. Emilie Nail
I have lived in Austin for 8 years and I started going to several salons before finding Emilies Salon. I am super picky and they listen and have been so helpful making sure I am nothing but pleased. I was so dishearted to read that there was someone that thought otherwise. It has been nothing…
I highly recommend the embellish pedicure - It is fantastic! I love the atmosphere, you get to unwind from the moment you walk in. Just sit down and enjoy. Have a drink - watch a chick flick, get a heated pillow on your shoulders, and relax. What's not to love?
One of my good friends refered me to this salon and I wasn't sure what to expect. I am pretty picky when it comes to my hair and I like it just so. When I walked in, I was greeted and offered wine and my stylist was promptly with me. He was amazing and did exactly what I wanted him to do and wal…

If there's another nail salon in Austin worth going to, I have yet to find it. My nails look good for weeks and that kind of quality is hard to find. The quality and Jenny are what make this place worth coming to.
They always do a great job and are very clean and sanitary. Definitely recommend going here to get your nails done!
Went to this salon due to a Groupon for $50 for a shellac mani/pedi. Bought 3, as we only came to Austin for a bachelorette party. We had an appointment, and were passed up by 4 other walk ins. Waited an hour to be seated. Then waited another 20 minutes in the seat, by the time they started in on us, the water was cold. I also directed them to start on the bachelorette first, they ignored me and still started on myself and the maid of honor, and then the bachelorette 15 minutes later. And even after that, she still was the first one out of her chair. The "massage" was them beating up and down our legs twice with a fist....and all of our nails are already chipping, even with their guaranteed 2 week no-chip slogan. If we had more time in Austin, we would of gone back to have them re-done, but we live in Dallas. Oh, and the biggest turn off was the girl who dumped someone else's bowl full of used nail polish remover on to my soaking feet awaiting my mani/pedi. So disgusted, so upset. All of us were excited about getting our nails done for the first time in a long time. This was supposed to be a treat, and relaxing good time. It was just awful. And when it came to tipping...which they didn't deserve, I still gave them $20 to split between 3 attendants. They should be greatful for even that.....the lady looked at me in shock and asked me to tip more. I said no, that's for all 3, bye. And kept staring at me. Maybe if they didn't dump used product on other paying customers, or make them wait hours past their appointment time, and actually took their time to attend to each customer and didn't over book themselves and worry about how many people they can squeeze into their tiny shop and attend to at the same time....they would have better reviews. But literally every last person that entered the salon was using a Groupon, and every person that was there looked miserable and had a complaint as they were leaving. Just because it's a good deal....doesn't mean it'll be a good experience or even worth the deal you're receiving.
The worst customer service experiences I've ever had... I decided to try a new place closer to home and I saw this place had good reviews. First impression when I walked in? Completely filthy. Absolutely disgusting. The woman proceeds to trim one of my nails way too short to the point where it was on the verge of painful. I, still being understanding, made no complaint and just asked her to straighten it out as best she could. I showed her a picture of nail art featuring small hearts. She said she could do it and then proceeded to unskillfully blob on to my nails, shapes that looked nothing like hearts. They were not good. She asked if I liked them.. I'd never seen anything like that in a nail salon. I did not want to be rude & I felt uncomfortable but as politely as possible I asked if she could take it off and just do plain pink nails because it didn't look like hearts. She complies. She finishes that up and there is a big, noticeable bubble in one of my nails.. Probably nail debris b/c all their tools are covered in filth. I'm pretty frustrated at this point but I just want to get out of there but I don't want to pay hard earned money for something that looks way worse than LITERALLY any manicure I've ever purchased. She is repairing the damage she did and starts telling me that she knows what she is doing and that I don't have to be judgemental and act like she doesn't know what she's doing. In shock I tried to reason with her and ask what she was talking about, that I said nothing rude and she says "You don't have to say anything, it's your vibe".My vibe. I was so uncomfortable with the situation I said I was leaving to go get it fixed elsewhere and she insisted I pay for this butcher job. She was so wildly inappropriate even her coworker kept telling her to be quiet. This is literally unlike anything I've ever experienced in a customer setting. By far my worst experience in a nail salon. STAY AWAY FROM HOT NAILS.
Very friendly, accommodating to my group of 4. Atmosphere was welcoming and environment was clean. Very good red wine as well!
One of the best places to get nails ,pedicure ,waxing, facials and much more .:):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)
This was one of the best experiences I've ever had. My husband and I both went in for pedicures. The couple running it are so nice and very professional. There is a large assortment of polishes to choose from. I especially like the fact that they line the tub with plastic. I feel it's more sanitary that way.
DON'T GO HERE!! Literally the worst experience of my life. They made me wait 20 minutes before helping me then the lady spoke no English files my nails down to nothing leaves to wax someone else's eyebrows after I told the lady I did have much time then refused to finish my nails and left me leaving unpolished insulting my nails that they were too thin to put a polish on charged me $14 and then processed to yell and scream after I said that I would have liked if before she filed my nails she had told me she couldn't do the gel polish!
Bought gift certificate for 2 pedicures. When we went to redeem, we were told the new owners would not honor the gift certificate. We didn't know there was a change in ownership but even if we did, gift certificates purchased from prior owner should ethically be honored by new management. We tried to negotiate with the new owner to honor it and even asked if she would give us just 1 pedicure even though the certificate was for 2 pedicures. She flatly refused to honor any part of the pre-purchased gift certificate. Therefore, we do not recommend K Nails & Spa in the Oak Hill area. We will also report them to Better Business Bureau due to their unethical business practices.
