I love the service at this restaurant. Serving time is fast and the menu is awesome. If you love Japanese foods, this is definitely the place to be.
Shogun is one of the best sushi restaurants in Austin! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. My husband and I were impressed with how nice they were to my two year old son. The food was fresh and tasted great. I highly recommend Shogun.
I've been to Monday Madness several times and have been consistently impressed. We love that we can go get $2 sake and rolls - and since we're saving money on the staples, we can splurge on a few of the more original items. The veggie tempura portion is small, but some of the best I've ever had.…
IT IS THE BEST INTHE SOUTHWEST. THE BEST SERVICE EVER .THE FOOD IS AWESOME. I HAVE A SPECIAL PERSON THAT I ADMIRE FOR ALL THE WORK HE DOES AT THIS RESTAURANT. I DON'T WANT TO EMBARRESS HIM. TAKE CARE AND GOD BLESS YOU. BLESS ALL THE STAFF AND OWNER.

I enjoy the sushi and and Mongolian barbecue. The last time I was there, the male server, who was obviously gay, kept calling me "Boss" and was real touchy feely. My girlfriend and my daughter thought this hilarious the way he was so attentive. But great service nonetheless!
I have eaten here many times - for both work lunches and for dinners with family and friends. The combo dinners are excellent. Everything is very fresh and artfully prepared. The last few times I have gone, I have decided to be more adventurous and try new things. The sushi rolls are amazing…
I'd considered my palate refined and sophisticated before patronizing Uchiko, but was not prepared for the explosion of flavor and deliciousness offered in every dish. Each small plate better than the last! Turns out, my palate was not the epicurean I claimed it to be. It'll be difficult to retu…
Ichiban is Under new management since Dec 08.\r Come and Try fresh sushi...\r Don't let the looks of outside fool you, it looks much better inside, unique and romantic with candles and roses on each table...\r really worth to try.
I don't know what it is about the sushi at Silhoutte, but it is the best I've ever had! The atmosphere is very warm with great artwork on the walls. The waitstaff is awesome! All very attentive, helpful and friendly. I highly recommend Silhouette for an enjoyable dining experience.
This is the absolute best place to get sushi in Austin, and I am including Uchi in that statement. I spent a semester in Japan, and Maru makes me feel like I'm back in Osaka. They are currently redoing their interior, and it looks fantastic. The sushi is superb. If you take one bite of the s…
they have closed. empty space now. do you know where they moved to or gone from Austin??Space has newspaper around windows and is now vacant.
I've been here before, but attended a birthday party last night for a friend. The entire experience was amazing. The service, the chef, & the food was exquisite. I know we'll go again soon.
My family went to go eat there n was disappointed. They charger too much for crappy food. I got the steak n shrimp and the steak wasn't seasoned that great n shrimp was ok and the rice was horrible. It's a rip off there
The food was great, the entertainment was great! The only reason I am giving them 4 stars and not 5 is because they could really do better with the "estimated time" it will take to be seated... Otherwise I am very happy with this restaurant! They should be nationwide, its delicious!
I took my wife here for lunch because she loves teppanyaki places and while I generally don't dislike them, this experience was an exception. After perusal of the lunch menu we found it had the usual fare - however lunch prices were outrageous! We figured whatever - as long as the food was good.MISTAKE! - we should have finished our drinks, paid, and left before even ordering. Had I asked around or even checked reviews online I would have done so. We started with sashimi which arrived quickly and was rather good. It was fresh and cold and seemed to be a great start to the meal. However - when the chef arrived everything changed.First off, the chef was about as enthusiastic as a dead horse. No talking, no nothing - other than asking how we would like our steaks prepared. After he started, he only prepared ONE THING AT A TIME! By the time one part of the meal was finished the other was cold. The chef started off with fried rice - which was prepared incorrectly and tasted like soggy burnt popcorn when finished. No amount of soy or seasonings would make this edible. My wife wanted noodles so I opted to pay $6 for a side of noodles which turned out to be your off-the-shelf ramen with a funky sauce which tasted horrible. My wife ordered samurai steak and shrimp combo and I had a ribeye. When the chef pulled out the steaks, I noticed they all looked identical - which when eating I realized they were. I have BBQ'd quite a bit and I know your standard cuts of meat - and I'm not sure what cuts these steaks were but they were much tougher than sirloin (which is what I expected the samurai would be) - and THEY WERE EXACTLY THE SAME. I was tricked into paying $13.95 for a $3.00 piece of meat. That's not the worst part - while eating the meat had a funny aftertaste that became more and more noticeable the more you ate. I do believe the meat was spoiling and we both left sick to our stomachs and as I am writing this, I have the feeling I need to vomit. Needless to say I didn't finish my meal (which nearly never happens) and my wife didn't really eat anything at all, besides the sashimi.Perhaps it is because I paid a total of $84.05 for a meal that was garbage - or it could simply be the food. Quite possibly a combination of both. I have had much better meal experiences eating at McDonald's and it was a lot cheaper. This is the first time I can remember feeling so ripped off at a dining establishment, and the first I have ever been compelled to write a bad review about someplace.Trust me, if you don't want to feel the same as I do - AVOID THIS PLACE ALTOGETHER!
I was getting tattooed by Philip Corbin next door at No Regret Tattoo and was STARVING.. So I went right next door per their suggestion and got an awesome Rainbow Roll.. Really delicious! Tattoos and Sushi, great day!
