Excellant Chinese food, friendly staff, great prices. Highly recommend
Love this place - been eating here for years...best crab puffs, grill salmon fish, sesame chicken and hot & sour soup..., It is a very neat and cozy place, especially, you can eat 20 items food with a very reasonable price . You also can order from menu and they also deliever food to your do…
I love this place. The food is great, but the decor leaves little to be desired. Its packed during lunch and my friends have started going after I introduced it to them. Definitely worth a try!
4. China Cafe
The food here is awesome, it tastes fresh and well made. The people who work here are also very friendly and helpful. This is by far my favorite Chinese restaurant in Austin. I'm glad I moved to an area near it and discovered it.
My husband and I have been regular customers for over 15 years! Like all restaurants, it has experienced ups and downs. About 5 years ago, there was a period of about one year where we were incredibly dissatisfied with the food and service. Once again, Hunan Lion is BACK with simply the VERY…
Peony Asian Cuisine serves some of the best food in Austin, hands down. No pretensions, just flavor After googling ""good Chinese delivery"" over and over again for months only to have mediocre and sometimes just strange food that even my bulldog wasn't interested in, we finally discovered Peo…
7. Bamboo Grill
i have been going here since they open everything has been good and fresh. The portions are large and the resteraunt is very clean. I have not had any food poison as per the other reviews. This resteraunt is very good will go back again and again.
Like other reviewers, I've been a regular at Hunan's for years - since the early '80s, in fact. The place is under new management, and has been remodeled. However, our favorite waitress still remembers the items we prefer (no matter how long it's been since our last visit) and the food is stil…
9. CHI Buffet
We love this place. The food is soooo good, the place is new and clean, It has Sushi to Salmon to fried bananas and everything else Asian. Now if they would only copy it and put it near 183 and 620, I would be in heaven.
I enjoy eating at Mandarin. The staff is very friendly, the food is delicious, and the prices are amazingly low. I recommend the hot and sour soup. I have never tasted one similar to it. Their vegetable fried rice, kung pao chicken and sweet & sour chicken are very tasty. Mandarin is definitely …
After you pick one of a handful of dishes, you get to watch the cook as he hand cuts the noodles from a living loaf of dough into the hot wok. The noodles are soft and doughy... just amazing. Also get the scallion pancakes! I could eat those all day!
Expect a mom and pop quaint little whole in the wall atmosphere. It’s a hidden jewel. The sushi is always fresh, and the sushi lunch combo’s are inexpensive and delicious. I’ve gone here for 5 years, I've never gotton sick. Never had a problem. The only con is that they do not have a wide variet…

22. Snow Monster
11220 N Lamar BlvdAustin, TX 78753
From Business: Taiwanese UT engineering Alumni, Ming Chen and John Sun, after being baked in the unbearable Texas heat, desperately wanted to cool down with a popular traditional Taiwanese summer dessert, the Snow Ice. But they were frustrated year after year with the fact that no one sells snow ice in Austin. So they took matters into t…
My family and myself have dinned here for years. Whether take-out, delivery or dine-in you will not be disappointed with the food or the service. The food and service are excellent and you'll have a wonderful dinning experience. Enjoy.

I think this is the best Vietnamese restaurant in Austin. Even my son - very picky in foods - likes to eat there. We (both me my husband, and my daughter) like Vietnamese Wrap -Grilled Shrimp Wrapped Around Sugarcane. We also love Catfish In Hot And Sour Soup, and Vietnamese shaking beef. The restaurant needs to make its living to stay in business, but the prices are not bad at all.
This place is super expensive the portion size was a joke and the quality of food terrible for how much they charged. I will never ever order from here again I totally feel taken advantage of. Way expensive for low quality and small portion.
Excellent food and very convenient. Being an Asian person myself, I found the food is comparable to some authentic Chinese restaurants in the big cites. Service is fast and courteous.
Went here because of the rating and I'm guessing they've gone downhill in a year. The place was almost empty which is a bad sign during lunchtime on a Saturday. The food was not hot, warm at best, and some things just didn't taste right. The lo-mein was dried out and stuck to the hotel pan it was in. The sauces were congealed on top. The egg drop soup had a thick skin on top of it. It's not the worst place I've been to but it wasn't anywhere close to good.
OMG. This was the worst experience ever. The management is horrible. When I arrived I first went to use the restroom and wash my hands. In 3 stales there was no toilet paper. Both napkins dispensers were empty as well. I got three plates and ate nothing on the plates. It was all nasty. They only thing I ate was the soup. When I went to tell the manager she went crazy. And just said call the police. I told her I had no problem paying for my food but as a customer I have the right to address my concerns. She told me to leave and she was calling the police. I left to go outside and wait on the police and this lady followed me, hit my husband and just seemed very threatening. Long story short even though she NEVER showed me my ticket, wouldn't let me pay, told me to leave, called the police on me. I was the one who ended up in hand cuffs and given a ticket for stealing. Very pitiful, I will be fighting this ticket.... oh and to top it all off I ended up in the emergency room with food poisoning. I started throwing up while I was there. But it never stopped over time and the painful cramping kicked in for both my husband and I. China harbor on Wm. Cannon in Austin Texas gets a big "0" (zero) stars for me. Save yourself a trip to the ER, court, pain, torture, embarrassment, and suffering.
I've been eating here for many years and will continue to for many more. The food and service are both always great.
