Despite telling me they had office jobs awhile back with different personnel working there, I kept calling regularly, never got a job or interview. Now with their new staffing personnel they don't return calls, finally got them to admit that they focus on "grunt jobs". That is heavy low wage labor work in factory's and warehouses, construction clean up, etc. lifting heavy items repeatably on hard concrete floors. But Linda Smith, their manager, calls them "skilled trades".Very unprofessional, liars, and they claim they hire for "clerical jobs" on their website. I will bring this to the attention of the appropriate State and Federal authorities for misrepresentation as even Linda said they rarely if ever, place clerical or professional jobs. Their website says differently. Avoid them.

They treat you like a paycheck. You are nothing more to them than a body onsite. Dishonest, under compensated, and terrible treatment.
On Demand Staffing Austin has gone through a full management change and we welcome anyone who has had a negative experience in the past to come back and meet with the new team and we promise to treat you fairly and respectfully. Thank you, On Demand Staffing - Austin
TRASH!!! Very unprofessional person in the office on Airport. whenever she does decide to answer the phone or help a client, the information given is either no good or just plain clueless. I tried to apply 3 times and never once was the office open on time.
Juan is a real proffesional! he will do whatever it takes to get you to work! Juan.
This is a beware warning for every job seeker! This is an unprofessional company that wants to with hold your paycheck and lie to you day after day as to when u will be paid.
I had quite an unpleasant experience recently. I had applied for an event through On Demand Staffing, Inc. out of the Austin office three weeks prior to an event. At the time I applied, I was told I could be expecting a call explaining the details in the near future. One day shy of three weeks pass and I had received no information regarding work that day. The night before I was scheduled to work, I called myself inquiring details about how to get there, what to bring, etc. After receiving these instructions, which were not entirely clear, I proceeded the next morning to arrive on site. On my way there, I was called and informed I was no longer needed. It was not conveyed at any point in the job listing, application, nor the screening process that it was a first-come, first-serve process. This office did a poor job of communicating several aspects of the job in a timely and professional manner. As I had mentioned earlier, I had a very poor experience.
Anytime I need some extra money or even if I want a way to attend an event for free, TPS is always the 1st company I call. There are not very many employers out there that LET YOU CHOOSE the jobs you work. If they think you are a great fit for an event, they call you up, and you can either commit to it or not. As for all the BS people say about tracking your own hours, this is what you would do in any real job so why not start practicing that habit now! $5 measly dollars that these people cry about is nothing compared to the money you will make in the future with TPS. I think what the complainers are forgetting is that you are an adult. Keep track of your hours, show up on time (10 mins early), prepared (with your uniform), look presentable, and work with a great attitude. Trust me I have been assigned to numerous events: golf tourneys, charity events, Carnival, UT games, UT Law mixers, and as long as you have a great time socializing with the people in attendance and your contact, YOU WILL BE ASKED BACK. I have been specifically requested from some contacts and simply because of my customer service and professionalism.
