This is my 3rd time coming and the last. The tattoo guy was awesome the first 2 times. But the Owner/manager (fat old white guy) is a lying crook. I called got a quote for price to mount a tire after it was done he charged me twice as much as he stated on the phone also they broke my tire sensor and he called me a Effing liar about. I never felt so lied and deceived to in my life, especially by some shady as tire man. So many other tire shops around the area that will do a better job, i recommend going to them. I hope this post warns at least one person not to support this type of unethical business practice.
I read the reviews and I don't understand the high ratings. First they don't have customer service that can take you to work/home. They don't have water/coffee for those who are waiting long period of time. In my case I had work done on my vehicle (front end suspension) after they done the work they warn me that I had a nut missing in my suspension which had nothing to do with the work they done. It wouldn't of hurt to add a .75 cent nut for the sake of safety for a customer.
I'm happy that nothing fell apart while driving home cause they didn't want to invest the time of two minutes in putting a nut on.
For this alone I'm giving them a one star rating.
This will be my last trip there and I reconsider and canceled my plan to get further work done.

Just popped in this morning. I had two old tires changed out for two not as old tires I had on reserve! It took less than 20 minutes cost less than 30 bucks. Left with peace of mind and looking forward to working with Tireman in the future! You should do the same!

I used to always go to Discount Auto, where I thought I got a good deal, but always had to wait for hours just to get a single tire. Now I go to TireMan, because they are so quick and friendly. I always get in and out of there in about 10 minutes. Seriously. This makes me happy because it means I have to take less time out of my busy work schedule to sit in a waiting room. They always give me a good deal on an inexpensive tire, and never ask me if I want to upgrade or add warranties, etc. like most places. They are just quick and to the point. And, while sitting in the waiting room, I get to visit with the owner's dog, an adorable but ""tough"" looking Boston Terrier, who sits on top of high stacks of tires and sometimes even sits in your lap. Not to mention, the guy that runs the place has great tattoos and the most beautifully striking blue eyes I've ever seen. I always leave there happier than when I came in. :)

I went to Tireman because I just moved to Austin and got a flat and it was the closest place to my house. Got there and bought a used tire, it took them about 10 minutes to put it on and I was out of there. Later that day the new used tire went flat. The next day I went back and showed them what happened and they gave me a almost brand new tire for free and didn't ask any questions. Great place and everyone should go here!!!!

4 new tires and an alignment for half the next best price I could find. We've been driving for almost three weeks, and even my husband says that the car still drives like new. And he is even more of a skinflint than I am.\nI called ahead for simple directions, and there was no waiting when I got there. Really fast work . I hardly had time to read the headlines in the paper they provided before the car was ready to drive away. In fact, if they had provided coffee, I wouldn't have had time to pour a cup before the car was ready.\nI would definitely recommend to a friend.\n
Poeople skills in the dirt, even though they seem nice. It will take several tries to get your tires balanced correctly, as they blame it on the tire. Lastly, they know nothing about alignment. They said everything was okay, even though I had extreme tire wear in one spot. I took it to Firestone and the computer print out showed that the front end was way out of whack. Giving them chance after chance, cost me alot buying tires prematurely.
I wanted to write a review for Val and the gang at Tire Man. I was leery of using the tires he recommended at first but wanted to take that leap of faith trying to get a quiet ride in my Ford pickup. I got a set of tires yesterday and headed up Mopac and WOW what a diff! Superquiet and softer ride for sure . Using the cell phone means I can use my inside voice instead of getting uptight trying to hear over the road noise driving. Can't wait to drive up to Big D on the weekend to appreciate the quietude, dude. Thanks again. Oh yeah and Epert is awesome hanging out while you wait . They take no time in changing all your tires like a pit stop for NASCAR. Way cool. Robster57 out.

I tried to get an alignment and when the alignment tech asked what work had been done to the car, I told him. He then said it had not been done. He then told me the shock tower was broken. My car doesn't have a shock tower because it doesn't have shocks, it has struts. I then requested he take my car off his machine but he didn't know how to start it and pushed it off. I thenstarted it up and drove away forever.
Just got new tires on my truck for the unbeatable DRIVE OUT price of only $440. NO B.S. additional charges like a lot of the big chain tire stores. Also, they replaced my front and rear u-joints for only $80 extra, which I had quotes of around $200 from other repair facilities for the same thing. I highly recommend them.
