I hope if you go there yout doctor is not christopher jay thompson. He was rude, inconsiderate, judgemental and a terrible doctor. I was in severe pain and he wouldn't treat it. I think he thought i was drug seeking. I had fractured bonews!!! I wasnt drugbseeking i was hurt.when i winced during stiches he strormed out like a little baby. This is justva rew examples the nurses were rude to boot. Do not go there unless u have no choice.
I truly do not know why this hospital has bad reviews. The facility was amazing, as was the nurses and doctors. They saved my life and I could not ask for a better place to be if you have to be in a hospital.
worst experience ever with staff I've lived here since 1999 was rushed by ambulance on 05/09/2014 could have died I have great insurance they lost or stole my jewelry and some of it being my mothers before she passed away a couple of yrs. ago but they want to have attitudes with me and be rude to me for their screw up. The person that says she is the head person over the ER as well as the person that is the head person over security says that there is no cameras in icu and that their other security cameras are not very visual either. There is no report of what they took off of me I know what I had on when you have a caring parent that gives you something you cherish it I wore it everyday the only thing I had of hers and now they have made me loose her all over again!!!!! Wish I could give them less than 1 star much more happened!!!!

husban alsohad to go for head injury was seen by the doctor and after one hour was seen and release with instructions.

Provided by Citysearch -My sister-in-law was admitted for Meningitis. The staff treated her very poorly. They did not attend to her needs. The nursing staff took 25-30 to respond to a call from her room. The made her feel as though they were inconvienced by responding to her questions and needs. Avoid this Medical Center as much as possible.

Provided by Citysearch -i was treated very badly due to nursing staff and secretary being overly sensitive and insensitive to my feelings and needs, They spoke loudly to me with criticism for no reason and did not handle my complaints properly, but made me to feel as the bad person instead when I am not and was not. They were insensitive to my being very sick for a week and being new to austin and the hospital. Even the nursing manager did not believe me and spoke negatively and she just believed her staff that she said she knew for a long time. I felt so hurt and helpless there. I was disrespected and not cared about as a person. I would not recommend to anybody.
