This location is horrible and needs to be closed, shut down, and or receive new management immediately. The customer service here is a beyond terrible. The employees here are so rude, they play around when taking your order as if everyone has been here before and should know the menu and get mad when you ask a question. The managers are just as horrible and as rude as the workers, they have NO knowledge or skills of the food service industry. They all need to receive some type of professional development and training on how to render quality customer service. These workers even refused to give me the guest relations, corporate phone number to speak with an Owner, or general manager regarding the issue we experienced. They gave us the wrong order, then did the next order incorrectly, so we just returned everything since they just can't seem to get things right. SHORT STOP #9 located at 6603 Berkman Dr. Austin, TX is one of the worst places to visit, please don't waste your time or money at this establishment.
BTW...This Short Stop is #9, The gust relations office phone number is (512) 453-7839, the owners name is Mr. Ledbetter. And I agree 100% the manager on duty at this location is extremely rude, she kept saying her name is "J" or "Jay", like she didn't have a first and last name to give customers that were experiencing a problem. She is non apologetic when the issues are being created by them from their errors and she just acts like nothing is wrong or there is nothing she can do about it. Did I say Horrible customer service already....Well I will say it again, remove these people from working here and get real workers that are sympathetic and apologetic to customers when they make a mistake. And employees that know how to prevent problems at least keep them minimal, and know how to correctly deal with customers in the event an issue should arise and take the customers inconvience into consideration when doing so.
I went to Short Stop today and ordered a meal from them, got it home and when I opened the bag, a large amount of a white substance come off of my napkin and onto my food and bed.. I called the manager at the location and she had an attitude when I told her that I wanted my money back and I would bring the food back to them... I get there and the manager comes to the window (No apology), just closes the window and takes the food over to where they are making the food at and starts taking the food out of the bag (Gross- because this is the same area they are still making food), she then brings the food back to me and says she does not see what I am talking about, I told her to remove the napkin , in which she did and a white substance came off.. A lady who was working the window came over and said it was from a wet nap (I have never saw a wet nap in powder form). I told her she could keep it and just to refund my money, she took the receipt and said the money would be refunded in 7 days (It took 2 minutes for them to take off my card), so I asked her for a receipt or a name or something since she is taking the receipt- the only proof of the purchase, she said she could not give me a receipt. After leaving the location I got back home and could not find a phone number, an address, or anything for me to report the incident to short stop's corporate office. If someone from the corporate office reads this I would just ask with hiring managers for locations, to make sure that they are professional and understand the concept of good customer service. They lost a customer due to rude and inappropriate reactions to a situation. I will never eat at this location ever again and will be sure to advise others not to as well..I just hate for the other people who got the same white substance on there food and did not notice-(Hope no one gets sick)....
