My dear friend and I were in Serendipity on a Tues. 3 weeks before my youngest daughters wedding because we had realized the veil was not the perfect shade of white to match her gown. Linda made our experience in the store just outstanding. She made not only our day brighter but my daughter extremely happy, Olga, who is the most amazing coordinator I have ever seen, did a brilliant job of turning a black bridesmaids dress into a thing of beauty. It is worth a trip to Serendipity just to visit Olga and let her work her magic!! She is amazing.

I had such a great experience at Serendipity! I was visiting from out of town and basically called that morning to make an appointment. They fit me right in and treated me like a princess. My consultant was Olga, who was SO awesome. I was there with my grandmom and two young cousins, and she treated everyone with such respect and warmth. She had great input without being pushy, made me feel beautiful but still gave me her honest opinions, pulled out some dresses that I would never have chosen, but which looked amazing once I put them on. If she says ""Trust me,"" - DO it! She is such a professional and you can tell she not only knows her job, she truly loves doing it.
Yes, she is a sales person (I'm sure she probably works on commission) but she was not AT ALL pushy about buying a dress. She didn't even take my ordering information down until I walked back in and asked to do my sizes. The whole experience just felt like a party, it was everything I wanted out of shopping for my dress. That moment when you first put on the veil is just magical! Serendipity did a perfect job creating that moment for me and helping me share it with my girls. :)
One little FYI - I was still dress shopping with only 3 months before my wedding (We set our date 6 months from when we got engaged, so our whole schedule is tight!) and by that time only one designer in the store could still have a dress ready in time. It was still a lot of dresses to choose from, but probably only 10% of what was in the store. Most of the dresses have to be ordered 6-9 months out. Seems like most girls are born knowing this, but I didn't!
That being said, Serendipity also had some seriously screaming deals on their off-the-rack dresses, so that's definitely worth checking out.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! The moment I walked in they offered my party and I some mimosas and we were greeted with multiple smiles from the staff. I was introduced to my consultant (Olga, the seamstress one...because there are two), she was opened to my families craziness and listened to my sister and sister in law rave about our ""story"". We went to work from right to left and picked multiple styles of dresses. She explained how she wanted me to try on as many different dresses as possible so we could narrow down the style that would fit me best. I LOVE AN HONEST PERSON! Olga would tell me if something didn't look good or wasn't me and that is exactly how I wanted it. We were soon joined by Linda another consultant and she was so fun. She would have multiple dresses that fit the style we ended up finding. Then I found it...the most beautiful dress I had ever seen. When I stepped out I felt like i was walking on air. While standing on the pedestal another Olga came and showed me how I should wear my hair and what veil would fit this dress the best. As much as I loved this dress I had to think about it over lunch and I had another appointment but I knew I would be back. And sure enough I showed up again without an appointment in the same day. They squeezed me in with Tiffany and she was ALSO AMAZING! She let me pull more dresses just to make sure and then I put on ""the dress"" again and everyone smiled. It was it! Again, we had mimosas to celebrate and they let me walk around and take pictures so I could see how the dress felt. They made me feel like I was the most important bride in there. They even started dressing my two sisters in bridesmaid dresses they thought would look best with my dress. They made looking for my bridal gown the most amazing experience ever. You will not be disappointed! The owner Josh is also the biggest sweetheart...LOVE THIS PLACE!

When I first walked in, it was a little overwhelming... my mom and friend browsed the dresses and started picking some out. A lady came by and started our dressing room - I found out that she was my consultant after a while. I had about 10 dresses when we decided I should start trying them on. I was in the dressing room with the consultant the whole time, which didn't bother me (she was trying to give me as much privacy as possible) - and every time we stepped out the consultant put a veil on me... which I didn't want. I told her I didn't want a veil. She helped me narrow down a dress... even though she was efficient, she wasn't very personable. I think it would have been more enjoyable if I didn't seem like a hassle to her. Then when we had it narrowed down to one dress. She kept on mentioning how it might be discontinued, today only it's 15% off... and I was getting kind of anxious so I asked her what time it was and what time did they close - and she told me we only had one hour before they closed. She must have read her watch ""wrong"" because we had two hours. Then she mentioned the discount again and we were on our way. I got a call 1-2 weeks later saying that if I still want the dress, they would be nice enough to give me 10% off on my second visit... but that's just a courtesy. I just felt like they were trying to scare me into a dress. I have a friend who is getting her bridesmaids dresses there and she dealt with the same consultant as I did and had just as much difficulty with this consultant - she make her feel like she needs to rush into purchasing. AND I'm a year and a half out and my friend is a good year out.... so we're planning way ahead of time. No need to rush. If the dress is discontinued we're just going to have to find an alternative, which is fine, because there are a million bridesmaids dresses to chose from.
