I had an incredible experience with a plumbing problem. Jesus Mendoz was the technician who came to my house, explained options, and took care of repairs with my complete confidence. He was trustworthy and did not try to add "extras" that were not needed. His manager, Lambert Landry, followed up with me by phone the next day. Unbelievable and reliable customer service! We order for the first time from this company. We took the 2-days delivery. We got the order on time. But as we opened the package, we noticed a small part of the video card was broken. Next day We called the phone number on the invoice and described the problem and asked for an exchange with over the night mailing and we accept the difference of the mailing cost to 4-days delivery. They did it. We got the exchange part next day with a mailing label for the returning part. We installed it. It worked fine. We are very satisfied with this purchase and this company.

wrong part huh?

yeah it sure it their fault that you orderd the wrong part, and the nerve of them to follow standard industry procedures to charge you a restocking fee. Piff!



I run a PC / laptop repair shop, and I can tell you these guys are always on spot. I use them for all my replacment dell parts. Their products are always top notch. Unlike some people I know what I need, and Parts-people.com always has the best parts available.

I ordered a video card for a Dell Laptop that was delivered via FedEx on time. After I opened the case of the laptop to install the card did I see the Motherboard did not have a location to install it. Then I called Parts-People only to have them tell me that there are two different flavored motherboards. One that has a plug for the video card I purchased from them and one that doesn't. Guess what, I had the one that didn't have a plug in and was thus not upgradeable. The video card I purchased would not work. I asked for an RMA number and was then told that there would be a 20% restocking fee for the return! Are you kidding. I didn't have the information they had when I purchased the card and wouldn't until after the card arrived and I opened the case. For that you're going to charge me a fee? You didn't mention even the possibility of two different Motherboards when I purchased it nor does your site. I don't do business with anyone that charges a restocking fee especially under these circumstances, nor should you. They are not the only folks selling Dell parts but they act as though they might be. Avoid unless your money nmeans less to you than it does to me.
