Great Salesman makes Maxwell Ford a GREAT dealership ! i wanted to review one of the best salesmen I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Mr. Carlos Ortiz at Maxwell Ford helped me to acquire the perfect vehicle at the perfect price !!! He listened carefully to me as I described what I was looking for in a car as well as the budget I needed to work with and I got a vehicle that surpassed all my wishes at a price that fit my budget perfectly!!! I was so impressed with his patience, and sincere desire to find a car that I would be happy with on every level. I have had many salesmen in the past work me over due to their desire to sell me a vehicle based on THEIR desire to either move a vehicle, earn a commision , or any of a number of selfish reasons that made it clear to me that my needs were not a priority. Carlos would rather not sell me a vehicle at all than sell me the wrong one. I was so delighted with the excellent level of customer service that Carlos provided that I referred my boyfriend to Carlos and now both my boyfriend and I have excellent new vehicles we enjoy driving and are delighted to own !!! There was never any pressure, just honesty, courtesy and dedication !!!! Thank you Carlos Ortiz !
I took my 2012 Ford Focus in to get the Works, an oil change with tire rotation. During my visit, my vehicle was damaged. This was hidden from me with a friendly car wash, even though I had turned down the car wash. I spoke to the service manager who said he would look at security camera footage, but now will not answer or return my calls. BAD BUSINESS. The shady service desk person was in a happy hurry to get me out in my car and pretending to do me a favor and the service manager was unhelpful. Don't take your vehicle here!
Update: It took a few days but Maxwell Ford delivered the exact terms that they had initially proposed.
The sales department is deceptive. They kept me there for almost 5 hours by making an offer that they refused to honor when it came time to sign. BEWARE! Sales Manager Scott Robinson may not be able to deliver what he will have you agree to. Incredible waste of a day.
Their service representative Mario was kind and professional. I will seek him out the next time I have a problem. Picking up a washed truck waiting for me at the front was a memorable experience. It was like I was getting a new car. Overall best dealership service experience I can remember.
This is what I sent to the Service Manager today:
Dear Service Manager,
I am writing about my terrible service experience with my Ford F-150. I purchased my truck at Maxwell Ford in 2011 and brought it in for my first service in July 2011. My service consultant was Jonathon Salas and on my initial call, prior to bringing in my truck for service, I told Jonathon that my rear drivers side hanger clip in the backseat had broken off from hanging my business suits on it and it needed to be repaired or replaced. Upon my first service (oil change, tire rotation, etc) everything in that regard was completed successfully; however, the part needed for the hanger clip replacement was not in stock. Obviously this should have been checked before I came in and would have resulted in a much more efficient process. Jonathon stated the part would need to be ordered and it could be installed very quickly in 15 minutes and they would have it in by the next morning. I could not bring it in the next day, but made an appointment for later that week. Upon arrival for service trip #2, I waited over 30 minutes and then Jonathon came by and said the part ordered was only the plastic exterior and did not contain the internal pieces which had a broken metal clip on the exterior, but he said they were going to try to find the internal parts from an existing F-150 on the lot and get me on my way. About 30 minutes later, Jonathon came back and said they were unable to get the part off of another F-150 and they would need to reorder the part and I would have to bring it back in. It had now been two visits and either the staff in service is totally incompetent or the parts department are similarly incompetent. Upon rescheduling for a third visit, mind you this is for a hanger clip, not a bad transmission or engine problems, but a piece of plastic, I came in again for what was supposed to be again a 15 minute fix. Jonathon came back and said they could not locate the internal clip parts and screws and asked if I saw them in my car or cup holder. I could not believe it and became very agitated. It takes a lot to get me angry, like going on 4 visits for a $10 part. Now, the mechanics either lost the screws or left in my car partially broken parts and screws for the job. Extremely unprofessional and incompetent behavior by the entire service team. I have spent over 5 hours (and this has cost me a lot of personal resources/money) and 3 visits and I am no better off than where I started and potentially worse as someone on your team lost/misplaced parts.

Excellent service from Mario... as always!!! I have been coming to Mario for car service for years... and he always greets me with a smile... is pleasant and professional... every single time. He always takes the time to listen to any issues or concerns I may be having with my car... and takes the time to explain the outcome after every service.
