Lone Star Cab Company

Most reviews are posted on sites out of frustration. Our experience turned out in the end to be one of frustration and anxiety but then a really awesome ending. We met our cab driver at the airport and he took us home around 2am. We caught the redeye out of San Jose so we were very tired when he got us to our house. We left one of our bags in the taxi. We did not discover the backpack missing until 11 that morning. We contacted the Office and explained our situation. The cab driver returned to our house about 1.5 hours later with our bag. The contents of the bag were very expensive. Some items were not really replaceable. We really want to thank the driver and Lone Star Cab. We will look for Lone Star cabs when we need one in the future. Thanks so much!

Not on time took long way to town

okay so this company is full of bull *** i left a I phone in the cab and called in and told the dispatcher that i forgot my cell phone in the cab,she said that that it wasn't in the cab ,but i kept calling and another one said that it was found and that i had to pay the driver to bring it to me when i called it was no more than 5 since the cab dropped me off.

My coworker and I took a ten-minute cab ride yesterday morning and mistakenly left a bag on the seat when we got out of the car. We realized our mistake just as the cab was pulling away and immediately called Lone Star from the curb, who then spoke to the driver.



Although we both saw it between us on the ride, the driver claimed that there had been no bag and dispatch told us unapologetically that there was nothing they would do. Repeated phone calls turned up nothing and management seemed uninterested in the problem.



I no longer trust this company and will go with another service from now on.
