Penny their adorable Fur-Baby will meet you at the door. THIS IS THE BEST PLACE TO TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO HANDS DOWN!! The technicians are amazing, they know what they are doing!! We are repeat customers, probably at least 6 times now. We have had some major quagmires with our work van and every time they fix it and fix it right. Go no where else but this place. Linda and Mark Hackney, the owners are super nice and will treat you right!! We even refer our customers and every time they call us and tell us how wonderful these people are. So drop what your doing, don't search anymore, GO HERE FIRST!!!!

I have been going to Hackney for a few years now. They are the best people you could hope for as far as automotive repair goes. Linda and Mark are very nice and have always gone above to make sure that my truck is taken care of. They are very honest and will not try to sell you any service you don't need. I would highly recommend Hackney Automotive to anyone looking for great service with an honest approach.

I would highly recommend Hackney Auto to anyone who is looking for great reliable service.I have 2 cars that have been into Hackney a number of times, and i was extremely pleased with their service and staff. I have finally found a place that i feel i can trust with all my automotive needs.Linda the owner is very helpful and knowledgeable.

I took my car in to Hackney after it started stalling on me. I had noticed earlier in the day that the temperature gage stayed on cold and planned to take the car in to have it checked but with the stalling I didn?t have time to delay. Anyway, I called them and told them what the car was doing and what I had noticed about the temp gage. I was able to get the car to start and drove it in to the ?they even agreed to stay late because I was driving from Kyle. They took the car in and I was able to get a rental from Enterprise. The next day they called me to tell me what the problem was and explained it in detail but in a basic way that I could understand. It all tied in to the gage thing. Anyway they told me what needed to be repaired, what the cost would be, and that the car would be ready later that afternoon. I asked if I needed to have my transmission fluid flushed and they told me it looked good so there was no need to do it right now. Honesty! Can you believe it? I am so happy that I have found them and highly recommend them.
My wife and I were passing through the Austin area a few weeks ago and our alternator for our 1994 Motor Home went out. We were directed to Hackney Auto Truck and Fleet for the repair. We were treated with the upmost of professional care. I was presented with a WRITTEN estimate within an hour and was explained in detail that the alternator was not available in Austin but they were able to find a rebuilt on in Temple TX and could have it by 4:30 PM. Even though our motor home was nose into the shop all day we were able to use it as a place of rest till they were through with the repairs. Also because we were just passing through the Austin area the manager of the shop insured us the even if the part was late coming in from Temple they would stay past their closing toime of 6:00PM so we could get back on the road that day.
I receieved a phone call from their office just yesterday asking me if everything was going alright and if I had any problems with the Motor Home since leaving their business.
How refresing, how professional, how wonderful to find service like this.

When you take your car into a dealership or a franchised repair shop, you are just another customer, a number on an invoice. At Hackney Automotive the staff is competent, honest, and will make sure you understand what your car needs and doesn't attempt to ""sell"" you any unneccesary repairs. I was preparing to go on a long trip and expected to receive a long, expensive list of items needing to be fixed, but the staff at Hackney Automotive assured me that a few maintenance items were all I needed to safely make the long drive. I was extremely happy with their level of customer serice and the excellent work that was done on my car.
