Dr. Jason Lee Gooch, MD

I have been with Dr. Cowan for over 10 years. He was recommended by a friend in surgical equipment sales who frequently attends surgeries and by a fellow attorney whose specialty is medical malpractice. I have never been disappointed and have referred several friends/colleagues to him ---100 per cent with positive feedback. LOVE his nursing staff---which I think is a big consideration when choosing an OB/GYN because many of your appointments are with them. I also saw Dr. Cowan through several years of infertility treatment and a miscarriage ...and the healthy births of two children. Dr. Cowan and his staff were always professional, compassionate and genuine. I also really like that their lab is in-house and they get results out quickly. Even though I have to drive almost half an hour to their posh new location in far north

Austin...I will never switch. You will be in good hands with Dr. Cowan ...or Seeker, Uribe and the others in this group. This is without question the top group in the Austin area.

Dr. Grogono is an amazing doctor. I love her and her office staff, especially her nurse. I had a complicated pregnancy and she was very competent and reassuring. I couldn't recommend her more highly.

I have always experienced Dr. Braunstein to be totally down to earth, loving, caring and very knowledgable. She is very gentle and very friendly. She took time with me while I was upset about something that is totally unrelated to OB/GYN and she made sure I was OK before I left. She answered all my questions regarding my exam and is very caring about my general health. She delivered my second baby and the delivery was fantastic! I've only known her to be really late one time when she had an emergency c-section and that is not bad for the amount of times that I had to go whilst I was pregnant! When she moved from North Travis OB/GYN I followed her downtown to The OB/Gyn Group of Austin. I hope I will always see her for my annual exam because I totally trust her.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kish's since 2005. Having her as my OB/GYN has been a great experience. She was so patient with me when I had questions during my pregnancy. I would definately recommend her if you are searching for a physician in the Austin area. I have never had any problems seeing her, she is always willing to see her patients instead of encouraging them to see the nurse practitioner. All of the staff in the office are also very knowledgeable and straightforward.

Overall great practice and great doctor.

I was recommended to her by a friend. I feel confident I'm getting the care I need with her. She is focused when she meets with you and intelligent and thorough. Lynn (her nurse practitioner, whom I also like and trust), can see you for checkups/issues as well. That helps mitigate scheduling concerns that can arise from having a doctor who also delivers babies (unpredictable timing sometimes, as we all know!).



The office phone system is the only reason I'm giving Dr. Grogona a four, not a five. As she's part of a medical practice that she probably joined after its creation, I doubt she has much to do with it, but at times it takes serious patience to navigate.



That aside, I have sent anyone who asks for a recommendation to Dr. Grogono. As far as I've been told, everyone has been happy and stuck with her!

I have to say that im sorry for the experiences that the women below have shared. I suppose its easier to write a complaint than a compliment. I personally have been seeing Dr. Sweeney for a little over 2 years. She delivered my first baby, and is about to deliver the second next month. I have seen several doctors throughout the years, and none have been as caring and concerned as Dr. Sweeney. She shows actual interest in her patients, and really has whats best for you at heart. In the case that you may not agree with her diagnosis, you have the right to a second opinion. She delivers babies at the hospital next door, so there will be times that she steps out to do this during your appointment. This never happened with my first baby, but has happened twice with this second pregnancy. I am always however given the choice to wait for her to return. Unfortunately with some other physicians, I experienced a bit of racism, or what felt like it at least. Im not the type to victimize myself, but I suppose it happens. Never once have I ever felt that Dr. Sweeney has treated me different because i am a minority. Overall she is an amazing physician that has been recognized numerous amount of times for her great achievements and ability for being a wonderful doctor. Know that you will be in good hands when seeing her and her staff.
