Exotic chill bar with lots of fire and one of the secret best burgers in Austin!!! Awesome staff, always a pleasure!

Kudos to Trulucks for having consistently excellent seafood and steaks. I am so particular about seafood preperation and I have never been even slightly disappointed! One of our favorite places to eat in town
My family has been going to Saccone's for years, even before they moved to this new location. The new space looks great - it's roomy and sparkling clean. \r \r My family can be picky sometimes about our pizza - half this, half that, extra crispy, etc. But Saccones always gets it right, and with …
7. Shady Grove
I really love this place! It's a cute restaurant with a great location, huge parking in the back. Sometimes there is a little bit of a wait, but the outside environment is really nice. They have some awesome burgers and the food overall is really delicious!
10. Magnolia Cafe
Got turned around near mopac (at rush hour -- heaven forbid). Ended up in stand-still traffic for so long that we decided to exit the highway. Saw The Magnolia Cafe and wanted to spend some time there while waiting for traffic to die down. I got the Greek Salad and it was excellent! I think my b…
I found this place shortly after moving to Austin in 1994. I've been going there ever since. It is my go to place when I have company or I want to do a group out!! Absolutely the best baby backs and cole slaw!!!! My mouth is watering now! I love hanging out on the deck listening to the live…
We had dinner on the patio recently which is one of my most favorite patios in Austin with the fountains and big trees. It was beautiful! The food was excellent! We had the queso, one of the best! The menu has some changes and we loved the ceviche with fresh tuna...and the tortilla soup is a…
13. Curra's Grill
The service is great, friendly, and attentive. The food fresh & delish. I eat there every Austin trip I take and tell everyone that's going to Austin. So far every person I've turned on to this delight (approx. 20 thus far) has shared my enthusiasm.
I'm so happy they have trivia here, I live right across the street! Not only are the drink specials great, the trivia is super fun. Name that tune round is my favorite! PS. I love their beeeeeer :)
20. The Cedar Door
I love the Cedar Door and just realized I had not already written a review. I have never sat inside, but who would? The large outdoor patio is awesome. It is quiet enough to have a conversation, though still busy, especially on weekends. In line with other reviewers, I agree that the service n…
This place has the best beef ribs I've ever eaten. You only think you like pork ribs better than beef because you've never had Iron Work's before. Their beef ribs are far better than any other bar-b-que meat I have ever had. Most places don't even carry them, or don't quite do it right. They…
For that special meal between 6 shots of liquor and Breakfast, there is no better place to be than Magnolia Cafe! Quick and friendly service paired with delicious fresh food, makes this South Lamar diner my go-to Late Night/Breakfast destination. Loved it!!!
26. Hoover's Cooking
Wow! This place has some of the best southern food I have ever tried. (I would especially recommended their chicken fried steak.) Not only, did they quickly serve me, but they their prices were great for such amazing food. I highly recommended this restaurant to anyone who enjoys to eat.
I love this place! i like to go and get a burger and shake and then go to the park and eat. The location is absolutely perfect with an amazing view of austin. The shakes are the best by far and the burgers are amazing. Five stars by far.
We recently had our rehearsal dinner here, and every guest is raving about the quality of the food. Usually, when restaurants cook for a large number of people, the quality of the food is compromised. At Castle Hill, they were able to cook every beef tenderloin and fish to perfection and that…
Upon moving to Austin 2 years ago, we decided to try out the closest vegetarian restaurant to our house, Mother's Cafe. It was AMAZING. Since then, we have gone back at least 2 times every month. My husband loves the BBQ tofu plate, and I always get the bueno burger, the best vegeburger in town.…
This is hands down my favorite Mexican food in Austin. And it's cheap!!! The location is amazing, and the outdoor patio is so much fun, esp at happy hour. They have a nice indoor area as well, for when weather isn't as nice. (Though you can eat outside year round, as its now covered and heated).…
Quick, amazing service and even if there does seem to be a lot of people waiting, it goes super fast because of the size of the sheer restaurant (main area, covered patio area, another small building attached).
So freakin' good. They have me spoiled and comparing every taco shop in Austin to their deliciousness. Highly recommend taking a trip to east Austin for some breakfast tacos. It's worth the drive. This place moves tacos like no other. You'll understand why once you take your first bite. I'm in love! Keep making Austin proud.
Juan in a Million is one of those great places you visit on any trip to Austin, especially that breakfast taco. Come in early and you won't have to wait in line or struggle with parking around the neighborhood. For low prices, great Tex-Mex, there is nothing that could go wrong!
Order the horchata, it was the biggest serving I've ever had and one of the better horchatas I've found in the states. The mahacado con huevo is a must, my friend ordered chorizo and it tasted like chorizo, my dish tasted unlike anything I've ever had before. Will definitely comeback!!
Kerby Lane is a great representation of the Austin culture. The ambiance is very homely and hospitable and the seasonal menu's are unbeatable.
Loved my first experience here! I came here with a visiting friend to get some queso with dinner, and it did not disappoint. We both fell in love with the Kerbey Queso - it had just right amount of thickness to it and mixed wonderfully with the guac. It was also served with salsa, and eating the chips with both the queso and salsa together was magic. We both have been dreaming about the queso ever since.
Delicious and cheap food and drink! Highly suggest it. $1 mimosas, does it get better than that? Yes, their chilaquiles are amazing!
Breakfast tacos lived up to all expectations - and served all day, hooray! It's no wonder you see them coming out of the kitchen in droves. Will definitely recommend this to my friends!!
What a disappointment. They were out of two drinks we tried to order, the waitress forgot to place half our food order with the kitchen, and we had to pay 20% gratuity because we had a party of 6. Will never go back, don't recommend you do either.
