I enjoy eating at Mandarin. The staff is very friendly, the food is delicious, and the prices are amazingly low. I recommend the hot and sour soup. I have never tasted one similar to it. Their vegetable fried rice, kung pao chicken and sweet & sour chicken are very tasty. Mandarin is definitely …

Mandarin House is one of my favorite Chinese restaurant. The food is authentic and always good. I suggest order from the Chinese menu (which has English translation) and stay away from the American menu and the buffet.
Head chef/owner Michael and his wife Joann have made this little gem of a restaurant a must visit establishment. This was the very first chinese restaurant my family ordered out from when we first moved to Austin back in 1990. We have been loyal patrons ever since. Tien Jin's is by no measure …
this place is always packed on sunday for dim sum with a huge variety of people. those who know dimsum very well and people who have never had it. Its clean, freshly made, service is great but they will not seat you until your party is all there and the wait is usually 15-45 minutes. BUT ITS …
This is my family's favorite place to eat. Everyone who works there is very nice! i've never had anything that is not good. Try the seseame chicken and hot and sour soup. AWSOME!!!!
I eat here about once a month it is close quick inexpensive and they have always thought my infant/toddler was cute and even kept her distracted so mom and dad could eat. I also tend to take great advantage of this place when I'm sick as they deliver locally.
I admit it! We're addicted. We went to Dim Sum at Fortune about 6 weeks back, based on the excellent review in Texas Monthly. We've been back every Sunday since. It's become a tradition. First...we were depressed for months when Tien Hong closed their doors. Fortune has made us happy again. Exce…
Food is aweful. I ordered an appetizer, the fried jalapeno fire bites, and they were old and soggy, sliced peppers fried in bland batter. Ate one and threw the rest away. My entree was the teriaki chicken. They told me it had all these veggies in it. Not true. small portions. Flavor was good but…
Like other reviewers, I've been a regular at Hunan's for years - since the early '80s, in fact. The place is under new management, and has been remodeled. However, our favorite waitress still remembers the items we prefer (no matter how long it's been since our last visit) and the food is stil…
Dynasty is always a great place to eat! Unlike other chinese restaurants in Austin, everything here tastes very good. The service is better than at other places. The ambience is typical chinese. Prices are unbeatable for that kind of quality.
This restaurant is tucked away next to the local westlake post office. Not a lot of people pay attention to it, but for those of us who know of it - we gotta get our fix. It's like a chocolate addiction but more intense. Seriously! The food is great. If your favorite is kung pao chicken, or ses…

We've been twice for dinner and everything we've tried has been beyond delicious. I am addicted to hot and sour soup and Twin Lion's is one of the best I've ever had....lots of veggies in a nice thick broth, with great spice. We've also tried the Wonderful Chicken, General Tso's, MuShu Pork and …
I ordered from them only to find out that they charge a $6 delivery fee and that they have a $20 minimum to deliver. For this, the food should be phenomenal but its just average. Will never order there again!! Disappointed in Buda.
We eat out a lot and have tried practically everything in San Marcos - this is BY FAR the best Chinese restaurant in town. Like I said, we eat here quite frequently and have never had a complaint. Our favorites are the Double Treasure, Chicken in Garlic Sauce and Chicken Chop Suey. It's deliciou…
The food here is pretty tasty. On Sunday only, there is a buffet all day. The selection is not that large, but it does have all the basics General Tso, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Pepper Steak, Lo Mein, Fried Rice, Shrimp Toast, Watermelon, you get the idea. $7.
I dint recommend eat in, but take out is great. Call in and drive thru pick up is quick n easy. The food comes right from kitchen vs buffet and great. Good and fast food less then price of other fast foods here.
Been twice now - each time its been a food celebration. The crispy shrimp without shells has me dreaming about the next time I get to go. Plus my family loved it - the portions are huge, the rice is nice and sticky and BBQ pork is yummy. Highly recommend
the amount of choices are amazing & it's very authentic!not your usual american chinese food...the singapore style noodles are wonderful...the best hot & sour soup around (be advised the soup is about $8, but it comes in one size, large)
if you order online directly from their website its way cheaper than using grubhub only 1.25 I believe
Had the General Tso, Honey Pepper Steak, Seafood Clay Pot, and Coconut Curry Shrimp. All through UberEats and it was all served fresh and warm. Tasty, delish and highly recommended!
I think this is the best Vietnamese restaurant in Austin. Even my son - very picky in foods - likes to eat there. We (both me my husband, and my daughter) like Vietnamese Wrap -Grilled Shrimp Wrapped Around Sugarcane. We also love Catfish In Hot And Sour Soup, and Vietnamese shaking beef. The restaurant needs to make its living to stay in business, but the prices are not bad at all.
This place is super expensive the portion size was a joke and the quality of food terrible for how much they charged. I will never ever order from here again I totally feel taken advantage of. Way expensive for low quality and small portion.
This place will not even deliver to oak knoll and 183
I am totally fine with the food in this restaurant. Nevertheless, when it comes to attitude of the employee serving customers, I could not just let it go.I called and said, "I would like 'to' order chicken in garlic sauce". I am assuming that the manager misheard me as "[to] two shrimp in garlic sauce". I am totally fine with all this kind of mistakes. But, apparently, the manager seems very unhappy when she learned that I only order chicken in garlic sauce. The worst thing is that I can hear rude voice from the chef in the kitchen about my order. After they have my order done, It appeared that they were assuming that I order 2 chicken in garlic sauce. I have no choice other than buying those 2 orders. Still, the manager has a very bad face expression and attitude toward me. This restaurant does not even deserve a star with this kind of attitude.
Excellent food and very convenient. Being an Asian person myself, I found the food is comparable to some authentic Chinese restaurants in the big cites. Service is fast and courteous.
Went here because of the rating and I'm guessing they've gone downhill in a year. The place was almost empty which is a bad sign during lunchtime on a Saturday. The food was not hot, warm at best, and some things just didn't taste right. The lo-mein was dried out and stuck to the hotel pan it was in. The sauces were congealed on top. The egg drop soup had a thick skin on top of it. It's not the worst place I've been to but it wasn't anywhere close to good.
OMG. This was the worst experience ever. The management is horrible. When I arrived I first went to use the restroom and wash my hands. In 3 stales there was no toilet paper. Both napkins dispensers were empty as well. I got three plates and ate nothing on the plates. It was all nasty. They only thing I ate was the soup. When I went to tell the manager she went crazy. And just said call the police. I told her I had no problem paying for my food but as a customer I have the right to address my concerns. She told me to leave and she was calling the police. I left to go outside and wait on the police and this lady followed me, hit my husband and just seemed very threatening. Long story short even though she NEVER showed me my ticket, wouldn't let me pay, told me to leave, called the police on me. I was the one who ended up in hand cuffs and given a ticket for stealing. Very pitiful, I will be fighting this ticket.... oh and to top it all off I ended up in the emergency room with food poisoning. I started throwing up while I was there. But it never stopped over time and the painful cramping kicked in for both my husband and I. China harbor on Wm. Cannon in Austin Texas gets a big "0" (zero) stars for me. Save yourself a trip to the ER, court, pain, torture, embarrassment, and suffering.
