STRAIGHT SCAM ARTIST THIS COMPANY TAKES MONEY OUT OF MY ACCOUNT AND CLAIMS THAT CAN FORGIVE STUDENT LOANS HOWEVER, ONCE THE TAKE YOUR MONEY YOU SEE NO RESULTS, AND THEN THEY WON'T EVEN RETURN A PHONE CALL.
I've lived at AP since it opened and the customer service, maintenance, eradication of irresponsible tenants, etc has been wonderful. The management (Melinda & Mike) have done an amazing job at keeping the AP environment controlled and comfortable. I highly recommend this complex to anyone looking for a peaceful family friendly yet affordable tiny community. One of the biggest perks (in my opinion) of living literally within 5 minutes of Austin, Pflugerville, and Round Rock is accessibility; there are many shopping centers, restaurants, national and international grocery stores, gas stations, entertainment, medical offices & services, health stores, etc within such close distance. If you're like me when I first moved in and are without a vehicle don't worry, take a 10 minute walk to the HEB bus stop or others if you don't mind getting in a little exercise the bus system will run you to a station that gives you access to the rest of busable Austin. For those of you with children, there are many child care services around and we fall in the Pflugerville ISD which is pretty outstanding, there's an academy right up the road near shoreline as well.college There are also some superb parks and trails in our area. For religious or people of a particular faith there's also a nice variety of worship centers in the area ranging from various types of Christian churches, Buddhist temples, mosques, multilingual etc.Great community for college students like myself also.Obviously I've had the opportunity to explore the area over the past almost 3 years and it's been so worthwhile. You can learn about more of the on-site stuff by talking to management, I really don't utilize the amenties (except Starbucks coffee machine) but there are some great features. One last thing to add is that you'll need a good rental history and credit report to get into over here. It's been nice writing an article, hopefully someone found this review to have value.-Wini
I have been having problems with the management at the apartment community I live at. I tried to reach out to the office of "American Campus Communities" , their parent company. It was my hopes that they would care about how poorly this property is being managed. They do not answer the phone and they do not return calls. I would not rent from any property being managed by them.
I have lived at the Hampton for a year and half. Everything was well until the property got sold and have new management. Since Cecil with his staff left, this property is going down hill. The office staff is impolite, they do not know where is their head from their toes, the grounds are super dirty and it looks like a poor neighborhood. The dumpster is very close to the building I reside and the garbage is all over and tons of sofas, mattresses and other stuff. It makes the entrance look completely unattractive and dirty. The fitness center is disgusting. Previous maintenance use to keep it very clean and sanitize. They provide alcohol. I can wait to move out of here.
My washer broke down and flooded my apartment on a weekend. When I called them for help, the best they could do was to schedule a service after 4 days. They were of no help what so ever and were pretty adamant. They charge a higher rent than other leasing companies and has the worst service. They were referred to us by a leasing agent at the Ranch apartments and I repent acting on that. More over, they charge $39 for pickup, which is provided for free by some of the other leasing companies which I came to know later. One thing for sure, I am not going to renew my contract and would never ever recommend them to anyone.
I was scheduled to take delivery of a washer and dryer tomorrow. I had not signed the online contract and a rep called me earlier today and asked me about signing the contact. I looked over the contract and realized the money fee was higher than I was quoted and higher than quote that was submitted via email. I called and spoke with a customer service rep who tried to make me believe that this was because the taxes could go up in my area. When I asked to have the contract sent with the amount listed on the quote, she said that was not an option. I cancelled the order and now I have a charge pending from them even though the information I was emailed said I would not be charged until I took delivery and that I would need to pay the driver. This company seems very shady. I just spoke with my bank and was told to call back tomorrow and if they have actually charged my account, I need to dispute the charges for a refund.
They are amazing. They have great customer service, they rented me washer and dryers at very affordable prices, and were fast to schedule me for delivery. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
Washer and dryer worked fine, very convenient. I have been meaning to go out of my way to post this for a couple weeks. I hate calling into places because of their customer service; but Suzanna was very professional and kind, despite being late on my bill. Thanks for being so friendly
John Wells was super helpful today. He was very helpful and made me glad I chose this company.
