I called to enroll since I was told I would be put on the waiting list in 2014. It is December 2018 and no response about me on the waiting list. I assume a student answered which is fine and I told him I wanted to enroll. He gave the phone to a lady and said this person wants to enroll. She got on the phone and asked me what was it I needed. I said to enroll. She said so how can I help you... I asked her what I needed to do and she said (like I was wasting her time) “come to the school, and bring 3 headshots with you”. Huh? I asked what may have happened with the waiting list and she said “ you thought someone was supposed to call you?” I said “ok are there any other barber schools in Austin?” Her reply, “ what you’re going to want to do is google barber schools”. I have almost nothing but good to say about Kervin's Barber Shop.They are friendly, and customer service-oriented. However, on at least two occasions the clippers used to trim the hairline on the back of my neck have been jagged and sharp, and the second time the experience was painful. I later observed that my skin was red, and slightly broken in places. Had I dabbed alcohol on my neck I would have regretted it. Carelessness of this type is avoidable.
NO food place, dance your ass off place. Went on Thrusday night. Two DJs that switch off every 2-3 songs. It was a good mix. Good crowd. Basic drinks, dive bar. super lit.
I had been coming to Joe for years. I always put up with his rudeness and loud know it all attitude because I was able to get a good cut. The final straw was when I suddenly had to go out of town for a funeral and was in desperate need for a cut... I walked in sat down for the cut and explained why I was there, I was getting over a cold and he asked if I was sick..... after lightly explaining my entire family was just getting through a cold, luckily before the funeral he rudely and without regard to the situation said I had to leave, after years of service I was shocked and thought at first he was joking, but he rudely responded he was not and went on a rant about how he wasn't taking the chance of getting sick , wasn't going to cut my hair and basically trying to say I was jeopardizing his lively hood.... a good hair cut is not worth having to put up with this guy's business !!
My boyfriend and I went to see a movie for our 1 year anniversary- We arrived 1 minute late for our movie (tickets purchased ahead of time) Replie (server) stopped us from walking into the theater and aggressively blocked us from walking through the door. She then directed me to the front lobby. I Spoke to Michael (manager) and he was just as rude and unwilling to help... told me that their policy is to not allow anyone in after the movie has started because of the "expectation that they set for their customers" (I checked on the Alamo Drafthouse website and couldn't find anything about this policy), he said that his servers are trained to be quiet and duck down low... I'm not sure why he assumes we would walk into the theater any other way, but he didn't care to hear what I had to say anyway. The entire staff was rude and unwilling to budge on this ridiculous "policy" - so we left. I felt like I was treated unfairly and I don't believe any paying customer should be spoken to in such a condescending manner. I never plan on returning to Alamo Drafthouse on South Lamar. I suggest your staff be better trained on customer service, because the way I was spoken to and treated for trying to attend a movie I had already paid for was absolutely uncalled for. I was able to pull my ticket from the kiosk in the lobby so I should be able to walk into the theater. If your policy is actually as strict as your staff said it was then there should be a safeguard on your kiosks to prevent customers from receiving their tickets and your policies should be clearly listed on your website also!
The absolute, unequivocally, worst haircut off my entire life. Highly disappointed and clearly dissatisfied with the service. I feel like I got the trainee, because my hair looks absolutely terrible. Luckily I can wear a hat most days so I can hide this disaster.

Poor customer service, no communication!. Was told my special order was placed, called for a week, got the run around, called again today and was told order was never placed. Check out Project Vapor, ask for Dylan - great customer service!!
Love this movie theater! This is a great place to see a movie with friends or on a date. My girlfriend and I go here often for the good food and drinks. It's nice being able to eat and drink so good while watching a movie.
