The place is clean and the staff are really friendly and the rates are low I just wish they had a cardio theater or pool but all in all its a nice place!

10. 24 Hour Fitness
10616 Research BlvdAustin, TX 78759
I'm actually writing not on a specific location but on the policies and procedures of 24 Hour Fitness. I had a membership for several months at the 41st street location, before calling to cancel in July due to changing jobs. I received confirmation on the phone and was under the impression tha…
15. Anytime Fitness

I have been a member at a few different gyms and this is by far the best. In fact I had joined Anytime Fitness when I lived in Marble Falls and it closed down because of bad management. Michael made me feel welcome and really excited to be there. Every time I go in he remembers my name and is al…
16. Gym One
I have been working out for ten years and have THREE gym memberships at the big chains in Austin. I workout A LOT and get sick of gyms easily, so I like the change of scenery in the other gyms. However, since starting at Gym 1 last year I haven't used the large chain memberships at all! I sta…

Dirty and Broken!Does that sound good to you? Well, welcome to Gold's Gym at 4404 W. William Cannon in Austin, TX.Start by parking in the dark parking lot, then open the door and walk in to the aroma of your new gym.Features? Oh yeah, they got em'. You'll pay for broken equipment, filthy restrooms/locker rooms, and no extra charge for the break-ins (that's right, the locker break-ins. Leave your wallet in your car in the dark parking lot). Now it can be disappointing in that every once in a while they will actually fix the equipment, but thankfully they have NO concept of preventative maintenance so it will break again. Now if this is Not what you're looking for then spend a little bit more and go to their competition across the street.
I really love this gym! Yes, it's a little more expensive than other gyms, but what you get for that price is awesome. Gorgeous locker rooms, granite everywhere, indoor AND outdoor pools! A really nice spa and salon, a huge selection of equipment that is spread out so you don't feel cramped. Overall, it's a very classy and impressive gym.
Front desk is friendly and helpful most of times. The club management is really effective. There was once some issue with the swimming pool temperature and the management and the technician worked effectively and fixed the heat pump problem promptly.
I love this gym for JiuJitsu and Russian Sambo. I've also tried their yoga classes. The yoga studio is my favorite. I don't know why but it's super relaxing and peaceful even though there is a full on boxing gym right next door. What a cool place.
Not really a fan of this location. Gym looks pretty, but the people that work here are rude generally and it's always too crowded for me. Also, I rarely ever see anyone with a towel cleaning up after they use a piece of equipment.
My daughter was gaining weight and we didn't know why. So we took her to Golds Gym to get her help and we signed up got her a personal trainer. Miss.Denise the best, loving, caring trainer there is helped my daughter. But then my daughter came more ill. Took her to the hospital she had a tumor in the brain six to seven months later I called Golds Gym to let them know I can not afford paying them or the personal trainer not even my pay my own bills because of my daughters medical bills. Golds Gym had told me there was no problem and month and a later they told me I owe them over $200 dollars. Wow!!! I explained the issue to them again what had happened and there response is that's not our problem. Wow! Really. My daughter is very ill and golds gym doesn't give a care and only wants there money. I highly recommend people NOT to go there your just money to them. If anything changes I will let you'll know. God willing they will open there hearts and change there mind.
Hi my name is Jaime Garza and just finished first half of Lifted Fitness and want to show u what were all about and how we plan to make a difference in the fitness industry
I have a membership, but I will not visit this location. I had received multiple unwelcome sexual advances from an employee, and was shocked to find out that he is the manager of this location. At one point he apologized, but continued to seek me out and also gave my companion the creeps. I never expected such unprofesionalism among upper management of a national corporation.
Really great fitness club. Pricey, but great. The personal trainers are extremely knowledgeable. Would give it 5 stars if weren't for the hefty price tag.
