On 6-09-17 my friend and I booked for two nights. We don't normally stay here; but motel/hotels were full up in Austin. Immediately upon entering we found the room to be infested with bed bugs. We went down to report to the desk. An asian man there was very rude. He would not refund our money for the night. We did get back for the next night. We were out our money and had to resume searching for a room. Horrible.
Had an Excellent Accommodation for a nominal cost at Austin. Nice Breakfast, neat and tidy rooms. Really had a joyful stay. Deserves Perfect Score in Ratings. Hope we get a chance again to stay
Fantastic stay .will definatiy stay again and tell freinds
We've sayed at the omni a bunch. The staff on the concierge lounge are super. Happy hour nice. New chef is very talented. Maid service right on point. Rooms are quite nice for a city hotel. Great facilities.

The Marriott is blocks away from I35 and 6th street. We came to Austin for our friends for their 21st birthday and enjoyed the great service. Our bell man Joe was the nicest guy and very friendly. We stayed in a two bed suite that over looked the Capitol. It was very luxurious and comfortable. T…
I have stayed at this hotel several times and always had a great experience. The staff is curteous and very friendly. The bar is alot of fun, there are always interesting and attractive people there. The valet staff is great and helpful in avoiding a sometimes full parking lot. The decor is …
I stayed at this hotel primarily because I have friends both on the North and South part of Austin as well as business in town. This hotel is right one 35 just north of UT. It is a gem. The staff is polite, professional and informative. My room was clean and quiet. The large vanity area was ver…
The website was very misleading in ranking this hotel as a two-star hotel. This place is gorgeous! The hotel was recently remodeled and each room features modern decor. It is close to the highway and Downtown. In comparison to other Downtown area hotels, this place was a bargain!
Had a business meeting in Austin, this property offered us good rates and a friendly environment. Seeing the peace officer at night, made us feel even more safe and secured. Would definitely stay for the next meeting in November. Rooms were clean and peaceful, very decent for the price.
The experience was not good from the start. When we checked in the gentleman at the desk was very unfriendly!! Definitely needs some instruction in the customer service department. I think he had been sleeping in the back room or something. After walking around the hotel with our bags, not able…
My colleges and I booked a room here for SXSW 2015 and when we went to our room we found violent blood splatter on the ceiling above the bed and on the lamp shade. When we told management they admitted there was an incident in the room and they did not know there was still blood in the room. Yet…
16. Casulo Hotel
My husband and I recently visited Casulo Hotel in Austin, Texas. We chose this hotel even though it cost more per night than the Hilton under the assumption that the extraordinary experience of your new hotel would be worth the extra money. We thought it would be “safe” to try out a new hotel. …

The seats in the conference rooms and ballrooms were comfortable. The Internet was strong. The Hilton had the nicest and cleanest bathrooms of all the hotels used for SXSW Conference venues. There wasn't as much available seating for chilling out between sessions, but what was available was good.
Friendly, efficient staff, good breakfast, coffee all day, and best of all they have a beautiful fenced in courtyard and I was able to let my dog wander around off leash when no one else was out there. We visit Austin often and this will be our go-to hotel from now on.
For a nonsmoking it smells like smoke. And so out dated on things. It needs a makeover in the rooms. It's very loud with families living hear.
Staff is doing a great job always polite , maintenance always addresses complaints in timely manner.
My colleges and I booked a room here for SXSW 2015 and when we went to our room we found violent blood splatter on the ceiling above the bed and on the lamp shade. When we told management they admitted there was an incident in the room and they did not know there was still blood in the room. Yet they did nothing and would not refund our money or even really do anything about the situation, even offer us a discount. The police were called and they are investigating the situation but this is literally the worst experience and customer service I have ever had. Please do not stay here!
Worst hotel ever..if you like being ignored unappreciated and disrespected then this is the place for you..I travel for work and I've gotta say this place won't accommodate you
Couldn't have gotten worse. Started out by not having my reservation through Expedia and charging me an extra $98.00 for my stay because everything is booked. When we got to the room the AC didn't work and was told while we were out it would be fixed. Needless to say here I am at 3 o'clock in the morning checking out because we couldn't stand the heat anymore. No manager on duty to even discuss any kind of discount. I will say the front desk night guy came to the room twice to try and fix it. I don't foresee any kind of compensation so stay at your own risk but know you were warned with my experience.
Smoking Away;I have had cause to make a vocal complaintagainst Intown suites in Austin Texas.I have been greeted on a daily basis to acloud of smoke outside my door everyevening for two weeks so far from aboutsix in the evening to 11, but sometimestill past one in the morning. I cannotbelieve that people are encouraged to sitoutside all evening long and smoke andsmoke and smoke. The establishment is inthe shape of a T. At the intersection ofthe T on the south side is a backup gener-ator. The same group of people sit atopthis generator and smoke all evening. I havecalled the corporate office 6 times so farand have never received a message back fromthem about it. The generator is right belowmy door. They seem to disappear sometimeswhen the courtesy officer walks around butI am not sure if that person even confrontsthem. They come right back.Their brochure upon check-in indicates youcan be thrown out for loitering and smokingin the wrong places. This Certainly SeemsTo Qualify. Do they need a security camerain the right place? Austin has a smokingordinance. No smoking within 15 feet of thedoors and windows to an establishment. NoSmoking Around Children. There are certainlykids about. This should not be a third ratedump. If you do not like smoke don't comehere. The Courtesy Officer Smokes and Ihave seen on occasion a manager lighting up.good luck...Non Smokers Beware
This is a great place to stay. I will always use this hotel as my go to place while visiting Austin TX. The price for value cannot be matched. Clean and w/kitchen for those of us who prefer not to eat out.
