From Business: For over 65 years Denny's has been bringing people together over great food. It's the place where people can relax and be themselves; where they can enjoy classic…
Worst Mexican food I've had in ages... Poor quality food, unclean atmosphere, and minimal, slow service. We won't try this place again...
At 9:30am we went into this location, asked to be seated in the booth near the restrooms where we usually sit out of the way because my husband has to use his mobility service dog.As the waitress was bringing our drinks the manager came over & wanted to see the dog's license. There are no cards for service dogs. People that claim their pet is a service animal go online & buy false documents, but the Americans Disability Act makes it clear that it's not needed. The dog was clearly identified as a service animal on his mobility harness & had tags on his harness also. We were so shocked that she insisted he needed a "card" and at her blatant disregard for a federal statute from 1990. A specific restaurant we'd been to on numerous occasions over the last few decades with an assistance dog, the frequent prior visits to other local Denny's and all the money we've spent at other locations nationwide definitely erased my appetite. Please educate your manager, the attorneys shouldn't have to.
Worst service I have experienced in quite sometime. We pulled up at 5:30pm, 3 employees were standing outside taking a break. We walk in, and we're told someone would be with us in a few minutes.3 people were waiting in front of us. After 20 minutes of waiting to be seated I noticed there were several booths and tables that were empty. Some of them still needed to be wiped down, but 3 of the clean ones would have held my party of 5. After another 5 minutes, we decided to leave, I understand that employees need breaks during their shift, but why not have them take their breaks at different times? If over half of your staff is standing around at the rear of your restaurant, who is left to wait on the patrons that are walking in? The management will hopefully correct this issue, before this location is closed down and becomes another rundown, vacant building in an already rundown part of town.
Gave one star only because i had to. Deserves negative 5 stars! Waitress ignored us 1st ten minutes before asking for drink order, got drink order wrong, then when a drink was spilled on table she stood there while everyone got soaked, walks off like nothing happened and never brought anyone or anything to help clean the mess! Needless to say we got up and walked out. Will NEVER go again!

AWESOME ATMOSPHER AND FOOD!Zed's is my favorite place to meet, whether its with family, friends, or business acquaintances. It has that atmosphere of incredible relaxation whether you are just hanging out with friends and/or family or at a dinner party or business lunch. Zed's has it all. The food is "to die for." (especially the banana foster dessert! )...yum yum.....if you don't visit Zed's, then you are missing out on the greatest place in North Austin.
The food rocks! The prices are super low and you can sit outside and bring your dog. They give you complimentary blueberry muffins that were hot and fresh. They also have a fully stocked Bloody Mary buffet with tons of hot sauces, stuffed olives, pickled veggies, you name it. Amazing! This is our new place!
Filthy doors, filthy floors, filthy kitchen, slow and inpersonal service except when paying. Food ok. Went at 8:30 am for breakfast.
