I have eaten here many times and the food quality never fails me. They offer almost 20 choices of sides and even a vegetarian plate. The brisket is always moist and tender regardless of the choice of lean or crown. The sausage has just enough kick to it and it is an old family recipe not store bought. The chicken and St. Louis style Pork ribs are almost fall off the bone tender. The sides are all made fresh daily. Sauce has two choices, the original and the spicy (made with ground chipotle peppers) has just a little bit of zip but it, like the sausage, is not one of those "burn all day" for that you will need to hit the condiment bar and pile on the onions, Pico-de-Gallo, and jalapenos. Oh yes and Texas toast and free refills on a 32 cup on tea, sweet tea and fountain sodas. As a final note, they will cater for parties of 15 or more. Worth the drive but there are 4 in Austin and 1 in Round Rock.
They won't turn down the volume of the music at the gas pumps. Until they do, I will take my money somewhere else. Don't buy the deli cooked food unless you like grease and more grease and speak Spanish. The counter clerks are about as indifferent as you can get.
I catered my wedding through Central Market Westgate, and it was amazing! We got a ton of food that was all incredibly tasty and very well priced. Patty made sure that everyone was happy the day of, and everyone loved the food. We went to another caterer before, and we literally got five time…
14. Cookies In Bloom
Picked up my custom ordered gift basket which was ready on time, got a block away and a cookie broke inside the basket when I made a sharp turn. Went back to store to get it replaced and was totally willing to pay for the new cookies. Not only did they get me a new cookie and decorate it on …
Called the morning of my friend's Bday. That wasn't a problem. They were super helpful and did more than required. I told them what I was looking for, the description from my friend was that and much more! Great Price for a Quality Gift! And who doesn't like getting cookies

I recently was in need of a social security disability representative to help fight my case with the Social Security Administration. I initially tried to file the claim by myself only to find myself denied and lost in paperwork. A close family friend recommended that I contact Garett Gray with Great Oaks Disability. He was wonderful, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable. He won my case and got me thousands of dollars in back pay. I would highly recommend this firm. His staff was excellent and was always there to answer any question I had. They handled all the paperwork that I received as well as ordered all my medical records. When we went to court I was amazed at how Mr. Gray worked with the judge and the expert witnesses. In fact, the judge told me I was lucky to have such a competent representative. I am sure that I won my case because of him.
I've been going to Upper Crust even before I moved to Austin 13 years ago. I have a totally, crazy sweet tooth, so trust me when I tell you that this place has some of the absolute best baked goods in town. My all time favorites are their chocolate cupcakes with a cheesecake center. The bakery is a perfect place for a weekend morning. I love going there, getting one (or two if I'm being bad) pastry item, some coffee, and reading the paper next to the sunny window. Of course, that's assuming that there are any open tables when I get there. They stay pretty busy and for good reason. Parking can be a pain, but worth the effort. If you really don't want to fight the crowds, go during the afternoon when it slows down a little more.
I love Quack's! I've been going to them ever since they had the location on the drag. And during college, they nourished me with fresh, baked goods and coffee for 6 straight years. The employees are usually pretty nice and the place is always packed. However, they have so much seating available that you can almost always find some open seating. Here are some of the desserts that I really enjoy there: rosemary apple pie, coconut pie, salty oat cookie (sounds weird, but I guarantee you'll like it!), pecan snail danish, Italian cream cake, carrot cake, and the most kickass sugared cinnamon rolls I've ever had in my entire life!
These guys at the Great Hills Trail store are by far the best when it comes to taking care of the families that come in. They are very attentive and remember peoples names and what we like to eat. My kids LOVE the mac-n-cheese, I like it but would love to have sone real bacon crumbled up in it. Sean and his staff are super, they food is the best in Austin , I think and have eaten at them all, North, South, East and West in Austin. I will always go out of my way for Pokejo's but lucky for me I live near here.
Hands down one of my favorite casual joints in the city. You can't go wrong with beer, bread, and cheese. The pretzels are amazing, the baguette with goat cheese and pear and fennel mustard is life changing, and the corned beef makes my Irish family proud. Outdoor seating is dog friendly, the ping pong tournaments are fierce, and the live music is great. There's plenty of parking around back. Go once and you'll be craving the beer cheese forever.
This is the best corner store in Austin. Maybe even in Texas. I have been goint to them for the last 6 years now, they cash my checks cheaper then any other place. They are always so friendly and helpful. No matter what I always seem to leave with a smile. Their location is super clean and they seem to have the cheapest gas. Even if they didn't, paying a few extra pennys for the great service is a great trade. One I'd make any day..
When you've got people coming in town and want to show them a tasty brunch in North Austin, Chez Zee is a great option! A little too pricey for a regular spot, they've got a great assortment of brunch menu items that will hit the spot. I'm partial to their omlette with tomato, spinach and goat cheese- it's just bursting with flavor! It can get very crowded on the weekends, however, so come early or make a reservation!
These cupcakes are so delicious. They have the best variety in flavors. My favorite is hula - the coconut with cream cheese frosting. The prices are reasonable, and they never run out of flavors. The only drawback is it is difficult to park there. The best bet is to park around the corner or the street and walk over.
Cupprimo has great service and everyone there is very friendly. I've had somewhat inconsistent experiences with the coffee. Normally it is quite good, but occasionally its not up to par. Their cupcakes are good, but not amazing. Could be the age of the cake I had, who knows. Need to try them more to make sure :D
