They refused to fix a fence after a storm knocked down a fence already on its last limb, until I had my attorney send them a letter. They charged me a double deposit and first and last months rent up front. Their justification was that I had a POM on my criminal history.The property was not ready by our move in date by five days, but no proration was done for the first month. I am being charged, however, three times the rate for daily rent because I took two days to give the property a thorough cleaning before surrendering keys to the property.Long story short, these people are not looking out for your best interest and are generally unfriendly people in my experience. Shop elsewhere!

The worst property management company that has ever existed and I wish I could rate them a zero. Take these reviews seriously. Its unfortunate they have saturated so much of Austin.They have had realtors in our apartment and random maintenance with little or no warning. We pay over $1500 in rent each month, yet have people randomly show up in our apartment several times a week. They have NO respect for your privacy at all.The place is not built well, draws are BROKEN, the wall is cracking, the tree in our back yard must be dead, wood fence around our house is ROTTING. The windows have no locks, just tiny window clips and my neighbor got robbed. Our gas was installed incorrectly so we had cold water for the entire first week. We also have had roaches. When they were showing our property they LOST the keys in the lock box outside and had to change all of our locks. They are so incompetent its baffling. When we first moved in, we signed a lease specifying a different house number than we lived in...the mail man had to inform us why we weren't getting any of our mail... They are so unorganized or just dumb.
Debbie has been fantastic, she always responds very quickly and handles everything quicker than expected. She's a true jewel of the company.
My husband and I got to looking at the housing market in early October. The Roman Lopez Team was right there by our side every step of the way. We ended up finding our dream home and our relator Claude Albarran jumped on it for us. As soon as we went under contract, he pretty much became our right hand man when we needed anything. He was there at all hours for us to answer any questions that we had. Even if we asked them twice. He was always professional and overall just a pleasure to work with. We would highly recommend using the Roman Lopez Real Estate Team when buying or selling your first or next home.

512 get low reviews but i'm assuming it's because they don't play. They mean what they say and while making you do something you aren't excited to do is frustrating, it's SO nice to see when you have issues that they sort them out just as fast as they've had you sorted out. The management are super-quick to address ANY issue, by e-mail or return phone call, this is the FIRST apartment management company I've ever been associated with that does preventative maintenance! Seriously, fixing things or replacing them before there is an issue. In particular I've dealt with the team of Jamie/Rachel/Loren and they are champs. Pure quality, dealing with issues that are bizarre or random with the same level of intensity and speed as issues that are potential safety or comfort oriented. I've been in my 512 unit for 2 plus years and when I finish my work in this area in 2 years we'll be choosing them 512 Realty for our home buying needs based on their excellent work as property managers!
