Appliance Repair in Austin, TX

Both of our units needed to be replaced in August 2015 so we called this company. We purchased the Units that they suggested, paid in full on the spot, and they came the next day to install the units. We have had NOTHING but problems with the units since they have been installed. From the unit inside freezing up several times, the unit not able to cool our home, etc. They have been called out to our home repeatedly (at least 8 times) and do simple temporary fixes that don't last. I will be calling once again tomorrow to have them come out AGAIN because the units do not cool our home. We were even told at one point that we should bang on this little Y part of the inside unit to loosen stuff up in there to make it work..... Really???!!!! Fed up with the lack of concern and inability to fix these inadequate units.

I used Campbell and they were fine. I'm New to Austin so just checked on the bbb site. The fixed my refrigerator and with service call it cost $189. That seems reasonable to what things cost in Chicago. Anyhow, I was happy with there work.

No recommended to any one I swear to god this is the worst appliance and . the warranty 13 month it’s a big lay. They want you to pay for the part that is their warranty . and you will end up with replacing the whole inside parts . because their products all are junk . and their maintains they don’t know what they doing . they just wasting your time they show up and look at the part then they ask you to schedule another day for the parts . and there is 2 weeks between scheduled and other . I mean I waste my money there and don want anyone to do that . please don’t be fool like me . the most thing i regret in my live Is I bought from there washer & dryer .They don’t deserve even one start I put one because I have to select or this website will not post my review

Worst company I have ever dealt with. Service call was $129. They do not break down labor and parts. They charged over 400 to fix washer and dryer and dryer was never fixed. This company does not return phone calls. Be aware and save your hard earned money. Don't use this company.

BUYER BEWARE - BAIT & SWITCH!! DISHONEST, DISRESPECTFUL, WILL BLATANLY SCREW YOU OVERI went here because the appliances are on display for me to hand pick the items that I want. I picked out a washer and dryer in good condition in the middle price range, I also opted to pay extra for new hoses as opposed to used ones. Tina (the manager?) assured us that all of their appliances go through a rigorous final inspection before being delivered to the customer. The inspection was to include a full test of functionality and a thorough cleaning. She also said that upon delivery, the delivery guys would go over a checklist with me to make sure everything was to my "utmost satisfaction and that [I] would be ready to do laundry when they left [my] home." Sounds great, make the purchase and wait for delivery.Upon delivery the guys dented my walls and left greasy handprints all over my apartment. The washer they brought was so destroyed that the inside parts started falling out and they rushed it back down to the truck. They did not bring new hoses. They brought a dryer that was damaged, dirty and when it was turned on smelled like it was on fire - but they refused to take it. I called Tina again and she made the same guarantee as previously mentioned for delivery the next day. The delivery was scheduled for 4:30 PM when I WAS HOME FROM WORK but they tried to come by at 1 PM. I called and asked her to reschedule like we originally planned and Tina started yelling at me before proceeding to hang up the phone.ALL IN ALL - I do NOT have a washing machine, I do NOT have a new water hose, I do NOT have a new vent hose, and I do NOT have a dryer that is undamaged, clean, functioning and non-hazardous. I cannot get Affordable Appliances to respond to my calls or letters to come and get the dryer, issue me a refund or make the situation right. So I'm out hundreds of dollars, hundreds of dollars of merchandise and have no way to get rid of this useless dryer.

It's nice to see Michael.tveter the office boy has time to write a review about the company he works for but can't find the time to call back a unsatisfied customer that has been calling leaving messages for him for over a week now. Oh they will come out the same day to get a check from you but good luck getting them back out to your property afterwards. I paid this scam of a company a couple hundred bucks for a repair that didn't fix the problem and we could never get them back out to our property to find out the real problem with my dryer and fix it. We asked for a refund from the office kid Michael who knows absolutely nothing about everything concerning their business except that their company has "NO MONEY" to refund us or anyone else. We have spoken to the boy wonder in the office everyday for over a week now and he's in a rush to get off the phone every time and promises to have the owner, the repair guy, or himself call you back but no one ever calls you back. If it weren't for Danny Katz giving himself a 5 star rating he would have a solid 1 and I'd give him a big fat 0 if this site allowed me too. BTW Danny Katz the owner of this scam company wrote review for his company on another rating site. Be smart people and do not call these people.........ever!

I am very satisfied with the work that has been done. I usually do not write reviews, but these guys definitely deserve one. They came on time, and they got the job done under budget, which surprised me because many repairman like to sneak in extra costs, but these guys didn't.Thanks Again

All I can say is WOW and thank you for getting the job done so quickly and making it so affordable. We usually get worried about finding businesses that have technicians that are some guys off the street that have some knowledge on how to fix our appliance, but Appliance Repair 512 did it all and more. Do not overlook this company guys.

Worst experience ever! They got the wrong part for my dishwasher THREE times. They would give me service time windows and would show up HOURS outside of the windows in the evening or not at all when I'd wait all day for them. No phone calls. And if it's after hours you can't call the office because it closes at 5 pm. What makes it worse is that my dishwasher has been broken for 22 days and it is STILL NOT fixed! So unprofessional.
