I've lived at AP since it opened and the customer service, maintenance, eradication of irresponsible tenants, etc has been wonderful. The management (Melinda & Mike) have done an amazing job at keeping the AP environment controlled and comfortable. I highly recommend this complex to anyone looking for a peaceful family friendly yet affordable tiny community. One of the biggest perks (in my opinion) of living literally within 5 minutes of Austin, Pflugerville, and Round Rock is accessibility; there are many shopping centers, restaurants, national and international grocery stores, gas stations, entertainment, medical offices & services, health stores, etc within such close distance. If you're like me when I first moved in and are without a vehicle don't worry, take a 10 minute walk to the HEB bus stop or others if you don't mind getting in a little exercise the bus system will run you to a station that gives you access to the rest of busable Austin. For those of you with children, there are many child care services around and we fall in the Pflugerville ISD which is pretty outstanding, there's an academy right up the road near shoreline as well.college There are also some superb parks and trails in our area. For religious or people of a particular faith there's also a nice variety of worship centers in the area ranging from various types of Christian churches, Buddhist temples, mosques, multilingual etc. Great community for college students like myself also. Obviously I've had the opportunity to explore the area over the past almost 3 years and it's been so worthwhile. You can learn about more of the on-site stuff by talking to management, I really don't utilize the amenties (except Starbucks coffee machine) but there are some great features. One last thing to add is that you'll need a good rental history and credit report to get into over here. It's been nice writing an article, hopefully someone found this review to have value. -Wini

The people here went above and beyond to help me get the car I wanted. I will begin with the disclaimer that I really hate car dealerships. I have been misled, misinformed, and generally treated poorly on almost every lot that I have entered. The list of offenses is long and diverse. So when I called Renee, I did it with trepidation. He greeted me with a very friendly and open demeanor, asked me a few questions, and immediately got me out for a test drive of the exact car that I came to see. He was knowledgeable.. he knew the car inside & out, and he educated me on the car's features while we were driving. If there was a question he couldn't answer. He followed up with me promptly. There was absolutely NO B.S. in this conversation. He was honest about the car and its competitors, which was very refreshing. What I love about Renee is that he's an information provider. He believes in his products, and it shows. He gave me everything I needed to make an informed decision, never pressured me, didn't ask what it would take to get me into the car today, didn't go get the sales manager to help make the sale. He was everything I had ever hoped a car salesman would be and more. I left the lot hoping and praying that my husband would also love the car when he drove it, because.. well.. I really wanted to buy a car from Renee. I wanted to reward him for being exactly the kind of person I want to do business with. Ultimately, my husband was just too darn big for the car, so it wasn't an ideal match for our family. I was very disappointed. Back to the wolves we go! While I haven't completed a transaction with him, I can tell that Renee would be a pleasure to negotiate with. He's fair, up front, and honest. And he's the kind of guy that would be there for you (personally) if you ever had any issues with your car, or questions about it after the sale.
For me, purchasing a car is a once-a-decade deal and it's pretty simple: I buy a car, take care of it, drive it until the thing falls apart and then start anew. Sometimes the car purchasing process ranks up there with visiting the dentist, in that you have to go and do it eventually, but cringe through the process. To my surprise, I did not cringe at all through the process of buying my new vehicle with Renee. He was more than just my sales rep, and as someone who also works in sales, I appreciated Renee’s relentlessness and tenacity to meet my needs. So just when I thought I was going to have to keep searching Austin or even further, Renee quarterbacked this to reality, for he knew I was hell-bent on getting an A3. Not all relationships start out great. Sometimes they take time to get better and you end up really liking someone or something after some initial hurdles. And sometimes getting over those hurdles will actually make you more loyal than if you never went through them. I'm giving them 5 stars not because they were perfect every step of the way, but because when it was all said and done, they fixed any problems we had and I left very, very happy. I called Renee and I was pretty sure I was ready to make the jump--but unfortunately they didn't have the color combo I wanted. These are very much &amp;amp;quot;white people problems&amp;amp;quot;, so I feel silly admitting it. But details like these are important when making such a big purchase. It really wasn't easy to get the car at other dealers because of my credit situation but everything changed immediately but I called Renee. He literally made what was starting off to be a rough entry into a new car a pretty incredible experience. Renee was able to get me exactly what I wanted and spent a lot of time and effort to make it happen. Seriously, he bent over backwards and did an amazing job. I ended up driving away with the exact car that I wanted and it turned me into a very enthusiastic ‘new’ used car owner--with absolute no remorse for ditching my pride. I look forward to my future years with my vehicle and I also look forward to dealing with Renee again. Side note: If you're considering buying a car here, Renee is who’d recommend. He felt honest, trust worthy and had a great attitude in general. Definitely ask for him.
I am a young single female and the whole car buying process is very scary. I went to quite a few different dealership before I met Allison Menendez at Champion Chevrolet. And until then, my experience with dealerships was horrible. At most of them, I would have to flag down salesmen because they wouldn't want to wait on me. Or the first thing they would ask is where my husband or dad was, and if they would be helping me buy me car. A salesman at one dealership even wanted me to fill out a credit application before he even let me test drive anything or even talked abouyt pricing or payments. I already had my own financing of he bothered to ask! I am very grateful I met Allison at last after a day of being treated so badly. She never talked down to me or pressured me and was very patient and explained all the options of each car I test drove. I finally decided on a new blue 2010 Chevrolet Malibu. She also took the time to introduce me to the service department so that when I needed service, I knew where to go and who to talk to. And before I left, she went through all the gadgets on my new car again to make sure I knew how to use everything. And the coolest thing was the way they did all the paperwork. They have these touch screens that you get to use an electronic pen to sign. How cool is that? I definitely recomment if you are a girl buying a car on your own, go see Allison at Champion Chevrolet. It never cross my mind to go back to Specialty motors and after two days of searching for a car I decided to take my mom there, when I walked in their office all the guys in there knew my name and they make me fell welcome I ask one of the guys if they can help me with $800.00 dollars and they show me a 2007 Nissan Altima, my mom was very impress and worried about the payment, I ask them about how much the payment will be and just for the record a similar car at another place was about $560.00 per month and they ask me for $3000.00 Down, wow anyways when I ask about the payment their response was I don't know but I promise you to kleptomania it as low as possible so we went on a test drive when we come back they got all the numbers up front $800.00 down yeah!! And my payments at $379.00 so for that reason I promise them that I was going to write a review about it and here I am!! I brought my 2008 Malibu in for service, having several potentially severe issues, since the engine light was coming on periodically, the Service Airbag light, the low tire symbol, etc., and the battery was dead when I tried to drive it to the dealer. I called and spoke with the Service Manager, and described all the problems and my concerns, and told him I would bring it in when we got it started. We tried with humper cables, but it wouldn't start, so I called OnStar and they sent someone to give it a jump. The Manager had given me the name of the service person who would have been briefed about my car, and we delivered it to the dealer for service. We were able to get a loaner, which was very helpful, since I had a very busy work schedule that would have required me to get a cab--my husband's work schedule was full aleady, so I appreciated the use of the loaner. The work was compleated, with some of the issues covered when they found that the cable tot he car battery had gone bad, and subsequently the battery was in need of replacement, which they did. Some electrical problems (passenger side electric door locks) were handled through warranty. I was totally pleased with the service, and Joe was particularly helpful and professional. All the Service staff were pleasant and professional.
