My mother came there only needing rehabilitation and had her jewelry stolen and ended up almost dying in the emergency room at Cobb after their lousy treatment, The management is ruthless and most of the people there are crazy welfare patients except for the few unexpecting victims/pateints
Has assisted living and Nursing home .Assisting living staff don't seem train in personal care. .Nursing home area clean .But short of staff mainly…
My mother in law was there for a week. They didnt change her sheets for eleven days. They are not sanitary at all. The nurses are extremely rude. And they didnt even give her her meds. Like many reviews say i wouldnt put your family in here unless you want people to neglect them. This place is a joke! I will be calling the health department on this facility. Its dirty and nasty. The nurses there are a joke.
HORRIBLE!!!! My dad was there and he was transferred to Cobb Hospital and we were never notified!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He was there less than 24hrs and they had NO supplies for him.
If resident is coherent & knows what's going on, they get a little better treatment; however, if they are not cognitive of their, they are neglected. My mother constantly had feces under her nails and screamed in pain when they "bathed her". I lived out of state but when i came to see her, I threw a fit. This is a horrible place. Angela C
Do not send your relatives there unless you want them to die, they never have enough help, and if the patient can't speak up, they will get nothing done for them. The worse care ever!!!!
Horrible!!! My dad came here after having liver failure and was completely neglected.. He was screaming in pain for a week and my mom, uncle, and grandmother asked the nurses on four separate occasions to check his catheter and instead of replacing the catheter they just took a look and never did anything about it. During a visit to the doctor he was sent to the ER due to a bad infection from a catheter that was not put in right. Before this, I saw nurses standing around the desk on cell phones, ignoring patients, and also my dad pressed the call nurse button and I saw nurses ignore the flashing light above his room. I finally went to the front desk to ask for help from a nurse and she was sitting at the desk on her cell phone and she didn't even look up when I stood in front of her. Later on during the night the same nurse brought in medicine for my dad and my mom asked what she was giving him and she literally said she didn't know. My dad complained that a tech who had changed his diaper yelled at him when he tried rolling over and told him "if you do this again I will jump on your f****** back". After my dad was sent to the ER due to a severe infection from the catheter he also couldn't open his eyes due to infections in both his eyes. I have never seen my dad look like this and I would never recommend any one take their loved ones here. In my opinion the nurses here do not care and are extremely rude. My dad left this place in a worse condition then when he got there. This has severely set back my dad's recovery. Also the night my dad was sent to the ER they cleared out his room, never called us. When my mom went to get his belongings they brought out a box with half eaten candy bars, empty coke bottles, his glasses thrown in without their case, and his phone was missing. When my mom stated his phone was missing they brought it out of their office.
