The Granger Middle School offers courses in English, science, social studies, math, foreign languages, art, music and computers. It serves students from grades six through eight. The school also provides an additional academic program in strategic reading. The school s sewing class cover topics, including techniques of sewing, fabrics, pattern selection, buttonholes, pockets and case making. The school also has a media centre that offers books for personal reading, browsing and research. Its library is equipped with more than 25 computers that provide access to research databases and library catalog. The library also operates a volunteer program for shelving books, processing materials, maintaining career files and school s scrapbook. Additionally, the volunteers assist in ongoing improvement projects. Located in Aurora, Ill., the school has an e-education platform that connects people and technology.
