After having bad experiences in quite a few nail salons in Aurora I tried Rose's Nail Salon after seeing the good review here. I was not disappointed! Tammy was warm, friendly and professional. I went into several other salons, even with an appointment and was made to wait 15 minutes after other clients came in wanting less time consuming things done. While I realize that some things like eyebrow waxing do not take as long, I feel that an appointment should be honored and the other person should have to wait for ME to finish since I made the appointment. Other places seated me, only to have long waits or rude nail techs. I explained to one nail person that my thumb joint hurt because I have arthritis but she still was not very gentle in this area. I have had high pressure to try another more expensive type of nails and have had an extra $3.00 added on to the posted price to have my nails trimmed (who doesn't want there nails trimmed)?? Some salons were dirty and there was not a good selection of polishes. None of these things occurred at Rose's Nail Salon. Tammy said that she appreciated me telling her about my bad experiences so that she could provide me with good service. She explained about gel nails without a "hard sell" approach and I am pleased with how my nails look. I will continue to go back for this good customer service that Tammy provided. Bonnie
Cattle call. That's what this place reminds me of. I tried this place out on the recommendation of a friend and have since gone there a few times, always bringing in new people. I get manis and pedis here, as they seem to do a good job...the quality is great. I've been a little concerned over their sanitary practices, however. I noticed a lack of sterilization of instruments used after a pedi other than rinsing in the SAME basin as my feet were still soaking in it, followed by a quick towel dry and storage of the tools. I wasn't surprised over the KDVR news report in giving this place a "F" regarding multiple violations found by the health dept. I now have mixed feelings about continuing to go there though. It was irritating that staff would interrupt one another when receiving services. More disturbing was when I listened in on a male staff member who seemingly appeared to be either an owner or manager, talk very negatively about a client sitting right behind him. He obviously underestimated a client's ability to understand Vietnamese! Rather than divulging this, I find it more interesting to listen in like a fly on the wall and continue coming across as the "stupid white lady".
I have been looking for the right combination of superb work, friendly service, & great prices in a nail salon. Rose Nails in Aurora, CO fit each category very nicely! You are greeted warmly upon arrival, & treated the same throughout your time there. Kim gives me the absolute BEST pedicure I have ever experienced. I work on my feet long hours, & thus have serious ingrown toenails / callouses. Kim takes care of these issues thoroughly, yet as gently as possible. She gives a wonderful foot massage each time. Prices are very fair. Tami, the owner, is just great as well.. These ladies convey true customer service & hospitality. Very occasionally there might be brief mention of other services offered, but never a "hard-sell" atmosphere -- which is why I stopped frequenting another salon. I look forward to seeing Tami & Kim...I believe you will also.
I couldn't be any happier! My nails are gorgeous and my pedicure is pristine. I got a full set of acrylics and they are so nicely shaped and the perfect thinness & length... Lynn listened exactly to what I wanted. Color selection was great and colors were new - not old & crusty. My pedicure was thorough and my feet and toes look so pretty! She spent a lot of time in the corners and bottoms of my feet so they're smooth and soft. The salon is clean, the ladies are well mannered & sweet and the guests all seemed happy. I would definitely recommend this nail salon to anyone and will be returning here in two weeks for my fill. The prices were also awesome compared to other places and are well worth it when you see how meticulous and high quality their work is!
I usually go to a place on Colorado Blvd. and was hesitant about trying this place after reading all the negative reviews, but because this was the only place I could find open after 7pm on the night before my trip, I tried it out and was very pleased. It is a family-owned salon, and I received a pedi from the daughter and the mani from the mother. Both were friendly and did a beautiful and meticulous job. The services took a bit longer than usual, but I was in no rush and was okay with that. In fact, I felt like I was getting more for my money because of their attention to detail and thorough job. And I love that there's a place near me that's open until later. :)
I was over at the Breweria place next door to them and then me and my girlfriends wanted to get our nails done. There was great service and the people their were SO FRIENDLY. Their pedicure chairs are the best. When they finished my pedicure i felt brand new. They moved me to a table to do my manicure.(Get the regular manicure if you want a nice quick massage it is approximately 5 minute massage) Oh my gosh it felt really good. plus you dont need to bring flip flops...its ok if you forget them. They have these paper flip flops. by the way THEY EVEN SELL PURSES THERE. I would totally return with my girlfriends again
Jody was so nice and really cared that I got what I wanted. We let her now we needed to be out by 5 and she was very intent on getting us out of there on time. She gave me beautiful black and red ombre nails. My only complaint was that because we were rushed it seemed like small things were overlooked (not checking for extra acrylic that was under the nail, or one thumb nail is a bit thick, nothing critical), I'm certain that wouldn't have happened if we weren't rushed. She even drew hearts on my ring fingers, and told me they were a gift. Very sweet of her.
I have been going to this nail salon every 3 weeks for the last year almost and not once have I been disappointed. I have had manicures and pedicures done by quite a number of the employees and they are always high quality. Today I had my nails done at another salon after a friend made an appointment for us there. As soon as my pedicure started, I wanted to get up and run back to Tropical Nails! I had the worst mani/pedi experience of my life today and cannot wait to come back to my usual salon, Tropical Nails, again. You guys are just the BEST!!!
I loove this place. When I went in the first time, the lady that helped me was so rude and mean I couldn't believe it. She did a terrible job. But the lady that manages the store with her husband apologized and so I decided to come in one more time with her. Her name is Mai and OMG SHE IS AMAZING!! Her husband does a stellar job too, I think his name is Henry. Anyway. I had to say something because this place is great! Clean and friendly staff, except the first lady that helped me. She is so mean! She's the older one working there, avoid her!
My new favorite place, I've been looking for a great place to go & get my nails done I've had some bad luck in the past with get cut and rude customer service. I walked was greeted friendly and ask what I wanted, got seated right away. Got help from two ladies one work on my feet and the other which was Tammy on my hands. She was a very nice lady made small talk. She designed exactly what I want her to do. She did a great job on my nails I love them! I will definitely be a returning customer. And their prices are very reasonable.
