Meineke Car Care Center

Anyone have legal advice on suing Mineke in Aurora CO off Tower and hampden for completely messed up my engine instalation making my truck inoperable, leaving me with no vehicle for the past two years? I have pictures, receipts, a list of all the mistakes, and witnesses of the mistakes my great grandfather had to fix for my truck to be remotely drivable. The company even agreed it was their fault and that they had no excuses, and the corporate of the company stated if it was up to her she would 100% refund me; yet they won't refund me on the over $800 I paid to have my engine installed INCORRECTLY! Because apparently taking advantage of a female that doesn't know much about cars by doing a half-assed job that will cause more problems down the road so I will come back and spend more money, and putting their costumers in danger by cutting corners on serious installations, is the way they "take care of" their "valued" costomers. In addition to the poor engine instalation, they also tried to swindle me into buying a new AC compresser by telling my mine was bad (even though I had just bought it), simply because it was rattling because (I assume) they loosened the bolts on it. Because as soon as my grandpa tightened them, it stopped rattling. Furthermore, after installing a new catalytic converter for free, as a way to shut me up about the engine instalation issues, the radiator hose was tampered with causing it to hit the fan, which caused it to be cut open, which caused antifreeze to spray all over the place in the amount of time it took to drive it across the street from the shop to the driveway. I know it was tampered with because it was perfectly fine, hours before they touched my truck. To make matters worse, when my mother contacted the actual shop owner; he was extremely rude and untruthful to her. Bringing in his opinion that my mom should not be handling my business for me. HOW PROFESSIONAL! He then goes on to be untruthful by saying he watched the shop video of my grandpa confronting the manager about all the mistakes, and tells my mom my 80 year old great grandfather (US Air Force airplane mechanic retiree) was irate. Overall, I am completely dissatisfied with the way this company has "taken care of me". And all I want is the money I paid them, for a job they did not do.

Do not go here. These people will scam you, especially if you're a woman. And this all happened right before Christmas. I took my car here thinking I needed a new fuel pump, they replaced that, the filter and something else. I went to pick up my car and it wouldn't even run. They proceeded to tell me it needed a new carburetor and told me they would look at it and call me in the morning. Well noon came around, still no call. I called them, they told me they've been looking for a carburetor all morning but can only find a brand new one for $700. I told them to just replace the spark plugs, they did, or so I thought. Went to pick up my car, barely running, I don't know how I made it home. I ended up taking it to an old mechanic of mine (should've done that in the first place) he tells me they put the wrong spark plugs in, two of the wires were in backwards, cranked the idol really high and my carburetor only needed an alignment. Not to mention the crappy customer service when my boyfriend called pissed off at them he got yelled at and hung up on! He also told my boyfriend we weren't the first people in there that day mad about the service, that should tell you something right there. Hope this helps someone out.
