Service

Buyer beware.... Do not use carpet exchange. Installation was the most incompetent & negligent project I have ever been a part of. Anyone who gave any stars must not have had carpet done or were hired to skew reviews. I have pictures to show you what you can get for $4000. Notice the "patches" coming where they were hiding their mis-measurements up after a week

So far, TERRIBLE experience. The first time I called, I was put into a sales associates voice mail. I left a detailed message and never received a returned call. I then called back and spoke with the Manager, that has needs some education on how to handle angry clients. She was very defensive and not very friendly. I went to the store and met a sales associate named Steve that did not hesitate to take my 1/2 down payment. He told me I would be contacted by someone to come out and take measurements~ they NEVER called! I had to call them back and let them know that i am still waiting to have measurements taken, and due for the install in 4 days!! This place is very unprofessional! Hopefully, they have some good workers to do the install!

Not a good experience. They are dishonest people. They billed me $400 extra to move furniture and claimed I approved the charge. I had already agreed to $140 for them to move furniture. This was a 2 bdrm appt. that had no large furniture left in it. The installers thought it was a good idea to toss the old carpet out the 5th floor window into the parking lot. The HOA was called and these guys were surprised this was a problem. No one was injured and no vehicles damaged thank goodness. The installers claimed to have had to use the stairs which slowed there work. I sat in the lobby the whole time they were hauling carpet by way of the elevator. Carpet Exchange managers had no problem with any of this. I will make certain that everyone who lives in Heather Gardens is aware of the quality of people they are dealing with.

I had been looking for a large area rug

I had been looking for a large area rug for my living room for quite awhile, while in Denver visiting, i decided to stop at the Carpet Exchange on Havana. They had a great selection to choose from I found the perfect rug. The service was great, i met the store manager Randall he wanted to make sure I was happy with my selection. Great customer service!

I have had the pleasure of working with Randall Stanfield, Store Manager, to purchase and coordinate installation of carpet, tile and vinyl on multiple occasions. Service has always exceeded my expectations. Installion has always gone smoothly and always right on target; done on time and above and beyond for follow up and clean up.
Further, Randall's product knowledge and keen eye for color matching is superior. I have relied on his judgment and recommendations to decorate many rooms in my current house and prior homes. I will continue to utilize his expertise and would not hesitate to refer his services to family, friends and colleagues.

This Carpet Exchange location is the best of the best. The Store Manager, Randall Stanfield, is one of the nicest and most professional people I have ever met in the retail industry. Their selection of wood and tile are incredible. They gave us great personal service including meeting several times with our contractor and insurance adjuster when we had to replace our damaged wood floor. No matter where you live in the Denver metro area I would recommend going to this Carpet Exchange location above all the others. Thanks guys, for the beautiful floor! S.J.H.

We had a large amount of commercial carpeting and tile installed in our dealership. The crews were amazing! Not only did Randall handle all of our mind changing, and last minute alarms, but he did so with courtesy and professionalism. We also recieved the best pricing- we had 4 bids from area carpet dealers... As far as the installation- WOW! I would never have believed the crew could move the massive amounts of office funriture with such care! The new carpet and tile looks amazing- brings new life to a 20 year old building. Even the staff got an uplift from the work. Thank you to all! Highly recommend!

Lock up your stuff, Carpet Exchange hires crooks

I had carpet installed in my upstairs. Two seams started to come apart. I contacted the store and was told that Keith the install manager would call me. I received a call from an installer and was told that I needed to move the furniture, which upset me because I paid Carpet Exchange to move my furniture. Keith never called me to discuss it. I contacted the local BBB and got a call from another installer who said he would come and look at the problem. When he got here I explained that I needed to leave but an adult would be here to sign. He told me he did not know if he could fix it but he would try. When I returned he was gone and I could not believe my eyes, not only was the gap worse it was crooked and the carpet around it had waves, you could step in one place and push the carpet down. I contacted the BBB again. The regional sales manager called and asked to see the seams. He agreed to restretch both seams. He informed me that the installer would be here the next day. The installer called and rescheduled for 2 days later. The installer got here with a ""helper"", they tore up the upstairs, took a door frame off. I heard a loud noise and I asked what it was, his ""helper"" said it was nothing. They finished up and left, I went up to check and found out that the noise was a crystal box that was broken which was no where the seam was, I am sure it was because the ""helper"" was snooping. I contacted the BBB Again and got a response from some B**ch at Carpet Exchange, to this day there is a quarter inch gap at the seams and all Carpet Exchange has to say is that it is industry standard. My carpet is not fixed even though they have an Install Warranty.

Positive Buying Experience

Dear Brad,

I wanted to let you know about our experience in your store. Rick Moran was our salesman and he is the reason that we made our purchase with your store. He was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. He was not high pressure and made us feel as though he was really only concerned with our needs and our satisfaction with the selection that we were considering. He was always prompt to return any phone call and even gave us his own personal experience with his hardwood floor selection and installation. He was great and we would certainly purchase again from him and your store.

On the other side the installers for both the hardwood and the tile that we purchased were also excellent. They worked steady and very hard with no break. They seem like a good working team, and we felt like we knew them by the second day. They were not even going to take lunch time the second day. We treated them to lunch and they continued to work while we picked up sandwiches for them.

Because of your salesman and installation team, we had a very positive buying experience. We have not always been fortunate to have that in past buying situations.

I think a manager should be made aware of the great employees that they have. I consider them all an asset to your company.

Great Experience

Good evening Joe

I wanted to write to you to let you know how wonderful one of your employees was to work with.
Recently Lea helped me select a new carpet and pad for my basement. She was knowledgeable, patient, answered all my questions and then helped me schedule the installation.
Now, that is no big feat because this is her job but what happens next is outstanding and showed me how much she truly cares about her customers. Lea and I had a little communication hiccup; I thought I was the first one to be installed on the date and that l would be called to confirm time. She thought my father would be the contact and would be available to let them anytime during the am window.
So, fast-forward to the day before the installation. Lea and I are going back and forth on phone calls to try to set this up and correct the mistake we made. It was her day off, she had a doctor’s appointment and she STILL worked tirelessly to help make these connections and arrange for me to be the first stop the next day.
She is dedicated and didn’t stop trying to help me when she could have just said, sorry we can reschedule!
You are lucky to have someone unrecognized text her on your team. We will certainly refer other friends looking for carpet in the future to go see Lea. She is an asset to Carpet Exchange and to your reputation!
