These guys came by selling meat which they said was local, grass-fed, no-hormone, no-antibiotics. When I pushed about grass-fed, he admitted that they supposedly did grain-finish for the last two weeks, which I would be fine with. I invited them in and they should me a bunch of steaks, but there was no labeling on the product as to where it was from or that it was "natural." I asked who they work with, and they mentioned a local natural meat supplier, but a google search didn't show any association. So I called the local company and they said absolutely not. So the guy called his boss who told me that actually the meat was corn and grain fed from different suppliers around the country. The steaks looked good, and even at the supposely "bargain intro price" would have been a decent deal for natural beef but were overpriced for conventional beef (once I got him to actually guess at the weight). Basically the salesman lied about his product, about where it was acquired, etc. I was going to give a two star review because the guys seemed nice, but couldn't even find how to get a hold of them - their website has no contact information -- none of the links worked as of this review, and the guy didn't leave me the only (and home printed) brochure that he had -- I think it's bit of a scam.
