Once upon a time, in the land of eternal winter and construction (Milwaukee), I had a great mechanic. Over the past 3 years, I've been trying to find an equivalent in Denver. I've been to a few places, but I can finally say "I've got a guy for that". I took my 2004 Jeep Liberty in to Ken's Auto Service. About every 3 years, this thing needs something ridiculous. Like clockwork, November of 2016 gifted me the need for several repairs and 4 new tires. Bracing myself for a financial blow, I answered the phone and was shocked when the quote was about half what I expected. Ken's Auto gave me a car to use and completed work in a few days. When I picked up my Jeep, I was given a detailed list of work completed. Driving the Jeep home was so smooth and... *quiet*. Blissfully quiet. Two weeks later, something else went wrong. I was waiting for it. I knew it was coming. My car is a dick. "Oh. You think I'm fine now? Think I'm all better? Watch this." The serpentine belt fell off. On Thanksgiving. On the highway. And my car overheated. I had it towed to Ken's. They called as soon as they opened and found my key on the floor. They lent me a car again. Again I received a quote under what I expected, they repaired my Jeep, and it was wonderful. But wait. This 3-year-repair thing always involves 3 trips to the mechanic. When nothing happened in December, I thought the curse was broken. But then Wednesday, January 4th, it was 10 degrees out. I got in my car to go to work. No heat. Maybe it just needs to run a minute? "No. No heat for you. No heat for the next 4, below freezing days. Lol," said the Jeep, every time I turned it on. I brought it in again, they did repairs, some at no cost, and I have my Jeep back. I believe I'm done *knock on wood*. Ken's Auto has done remarkable work on my Jeep. Tony, the owner, runs a great shop with a wonderful, friendly, caring crew. If you want an honest, experienced, high quality mechanic with fair prices, definitely go to Ken's Auto.
Top-notch dealership that strives to provide superb customer service! Ccouldn’t be happier with the vehicle and service Ben P. (salesman), Michael (finance) and Steve (manager) provided. These gentlemen know how to take care of their customers! We viewed inventory online & setup an appt the next morning (online assistance is great). Arrived for appt early, so started browsing. A gentleman approached us and let us know someone would be right out. Low and behold, Ben appeared! We discussed 3 vehicles and discussed financial needs. Ben had no problem taking each vehicle out in order for us to thoroughly inspect. Didn't rush and remained professional and courteous. There wasn't the dreaded back and forth process. We came prepared, discussed trade-in & payments. Ben's customer svc didn’t waiver at any time! Steve, another polite, professional shook our hands and thanked us for choosing Tynan’s. Michael in Finance, was another polite professional. We realized he was the guy who assisted us when we arrived. He explained all relevant, necessary info & answered questions. We left happy with the vehicle we purchased & service received. They resolved an issue w/ the vehicle a week later that technically, they did not have to. One of the many things I liked was all transaction paperwork was provided electronically on a thumb-drive! And, we were promised a 2nd key for our vehicle and they delivered! No pulling teeth or anything, they fulfilled the promises they made. This dealership knows great customer service and they truly care that their customers are satisfied. I had my car in at another local shop that told me I had some wild $1000 random repair that I'd need to get, and they couldn't even do the repair at their place. I decided to double check their judgement because it was very questionable. I'd used Checkpoint before for some routine maintenance and liked their service, so I thought I'd give them a shot.... GLAD I DID! Since I live within a mile or so of their business, they offered me a ride back to my place while they worked on my car and picked me up afterwards. It turned out that a part I had replaced was installed wrong at the previous repair shop. Checkpoint found this and quickly replaced the since damaged part, saving me time, money, and surely more frustration. I've been in customer service for years, and I'm not entirely sure the "frustrated" review these guys got paints a true picture of their business. Some customers are unhappy no matter what you try to do for them. Moreover, they don't have a problem with twisting the truth and telling stories with missing details. My sincere thanks goes out to Larry and the rest of the crew at Checkpoint for their all around great service! I will continue to use you and am happy to recommend your business.
I went in and met with Eric Landis. He was very nice and helped me pick out the Fiat that was best for me. He listened and took notes about what I liked. On the test drive he explained how everything worked and what it was for. It is very user friendly. I was so impressed with how the Fiat felt and drove I ended up buying the Lounge. He has called me twice since I bought it too see how I am doing and how I like the car. I love my Fiat!!!! The drive, sound system, style, interior room (it had a lot more than I expected) and my m.p.g. (I get about 39 mpg with the automatic). If you are considering a new car and the Fiat 500 is on the list, give Eric a call and set up a time to meet with him. He will take his time and you will not feel any pressure. I have bought a lot of cars and my time spent with Eric and Fiat of Denver was one of the best experiences I have ever had buying a car. P.S. I am going to buy a POP for my daughter and will give you a call. She likes the RED one.
I found Gary's full service by chance off of the better buisness bureau's website for their rating of A+. Recently having moved across the country from Pittsburgh to Denver with my 150,000+ mile 2003 Trailblazer I found my self in need of a mechanic. After I arrived my car was still running but the ABS light was on and the check engine light was intermittantly flashing. I took the car to two other mechanic that told me the ABS computer was out and would cost $1000 dollars just to replace. I hesitated to do the work. Unexpectedly the car developed another problem and overheated. I had to make a decision fast. I had the car towed to Gary's. Not only was the very fare with his prices, fast with his service, honest he CORRECTLY DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM AND SAVED ME NEARLY $1000 dollars. I will never go anywhere else and recommend him to everyone I meet. He is everything you look for in a mechanic, no wonder he is still in buisness after 25 years! Go here I promise you will be happy!
If you're in the market for a used vehicle you truly cannot beat the values offered by this company. We purchased a '06 Lexus 400H for several thousand less the same model being sold at other area dealerships/wholesalers at the time. We've had the car for several months now and it has been everything we were told it would be and more. We couldn't have been happier with the salesperson, Ryan! We absolutely loathe the car buying process but Ryan actually made it enjoyable. He was incredibly patient as we were undecided as to which vehicle we were looking for. He's very knowledgeable about, it seems, vehicles of every make, model and year. I particularly appreciated that he was completely straightforward regarding the negatives of some of the cars he was selling at the time. We enjoyed this experience so much and felt we got such a truly great deal that we will be calling Ryan again in the spring when our daughter starts driving.
I have bought 2 cars in the last ten years from this car lot. When I bought a used car, I expect to have mechanical issues. (they're older than new and USED) The paper work said NO WARRENTY. If I did have a problem, I would talk to them and they referred me to someone who could repair within my means. I am on limited income and my credit is not the best. They said that they don't run a credit check. I get e-mails any time someone runs one. They did not check as they stated to me. I try not to judge people and if I smelled pot on someone, I dont know what is going on with that person, maybe they have a licence and medical issue. (do you think?) Everyone there has been fair with me and I would refer them to anyone who needs a car. Just got to make the payments on time :-)
I was an auto mechanic for a couple years out of high school so I have been able to do most of my repairs’. I started using Fenimore several years ago when I couldn’t figure out a problem with my Nissan. They found it right away and ordered the parts and I got the car back in a few days. I’m able to fix my Cherokee myself except for AC work. They replaced a front compressor bearing for about half of what I expected. They replaced an engine in our Subaru at a competitive price and without a problem. They have done work on my son’s car which has been right on. On one repair my son decided to not have fixed they didn’t even charge for diagnostics. As age is catching up to me I’ll be having them do more of my Jeep work. They have always been easy to work with.
Best Place in Colorado After reading many excellent reviews for Colorado Auto Body, I decided to take my Jaguar there for repair of dented door. As soon as I walked in Bill treated me like I was their number 1 customer. Bill looked over the damaged and recommended the best work at the best possible price. He explained what would be done and when the car would be ready. The car was ready in three days as promised and all I can say... the car looked as good as new! I usually don’t take the time to write reviews but I felt Colorado Auto Body desired it for their outstanding work. The first 2 times I went I was very happy. Although the office seems to be confused, I thought the mechanic was good. I went Monday to have a headlamp bulb put in and they didn't have the bulb. They called for the parts store to bring it. I waited 45 min! Then they charged me labor of 50 something dollars!!! The mechanic worked on my car for maybe 15 minutes! Who charges that much labor for a light bulb change, a back windshield wiper and 2 light bulbs over the license plate???? He didn't even get his hands dirty! I just had them do 1600.00 worth of work on my car! Now I don't know if I will go back again. Very disappointed. **Update** After yet another defensive email from Lori, I will not be going back. Very unprofessional!!
