Worst place to live. Angela is a total hateful woman and very evil. She hates anyone who isn't Hispanic. God forbid you be disabled or sick because she told friends of ours who were living there at the time that she does not want disabled or sick people living there. Would never rent here ever again. The apartments are filthy
This place is ridiculous. Gang fights and bed bugs. The buildings are dirty and the landlord does NOT do her job. Repairs are dine for friends and family. I lived there a year and could not get my blinds replaced or my dishwasher secured in its housing. There is no secured entrances and the landlord will swindle you our of money to cover other ppls rent. I am going to BBB after this review because I was evicted and through the trauma I did not remember to disconnect my utilities. She let the new tenant use my utilities because he was homeless and she wanted to help him she told me. The result is I now have to pay for nine days of his use in KY bill?? She doesn't want to come forth with ideas or help just played victim and told me to please please leave her alone. Her vehicles are always vandalized and other rude things dine to her because if the way she treats her tenants. I believe in Karma and good business. Stay clear of The Gardens on Paris. She doesn't have a clue on how to keep her tenants happy because she doesn't care as stated by Debra the manager herself. Close to the school??? Great but she moves in crack heads and gang members. It's a family affair and her children who all live on property expect royal treatment. They will tell you their mom owns the place! Your kids will be bullied by her grandkids if you don't stay right there and watch them "play". My experience has been one of constant lies and she doesn't remember what she lies about which resulted in me being evicted after we had a plan of action to work in my balance due. I was fired from working off my rent as a cleaner because her friend needed the position. This was after I cleaned all if the dirty roach, bed bug, and rat hinfested laundry rooms and hallways. Know your rights before you rent here or anywhere really. This is prime example of a slum lord who needs to be exposed.
I moved out of AURORA MEADOWS and they will not return calls I have also gone in, they are trying to charge me 3 utility bills. On the 1st my bill was paid in ful I moved out on the 30. This place is very poorly managed they don't return calls. they locked me out of my garage by replacing doors with no notice, then had no keys for it. you leave message with service and the never return call. they lost my rent check then gave me a 3 day notice. this place is very bad. No one knows how to contact building management. They say they will report broken washers then when you call the company they know nothing. They give you less than 24 hour notice for spraying your apt. Don't move here you also get a lot of flats from roofing nails
My fiancée and I have continuously dealt with nothing but complete disrespect, harassment, extortion, theft, unannounced unlawful entry, and complete incompetence and disorganization since moving to Oakridge, which has been one of the worst experiences of our lives. This doesn't even begin to include the constant vandalism, littering, shots fired, tampering, and destruction of personal property from the many lowlifes that pass through this old, outdated, non-code compliant, low quality apartment complex that the management is trying to pass off as a cheap luxury community. Believe me when I say that the rating of 1.0 stars out of 5 stars is incredibly generous at best. Please take these reviews to heart and steer completely clear of Oakridge Apartments. I'm simply submitting this review with the hope of keeping as many innocent people as possible from being suckered into signing a lease with this atrocious company. I will be posting much more detailed reviews on as many sites as possible, will be contacting the BBB, investigative news agencies, and am currently suing Maxx Properties for their continuous gross misconduct. Please spread the word about this company in order to keep as many good people away from here as possible. Believe me when I tell you that living here is like paying a ton of money for crappy apartments, just so that you can be continuously disrespected, mouthed off to, taken advantage of, and ignored when you need anything. It's shocking for a business with these ethics to be operating anywhere other than a third world country, let alone in the United States. They are all smiles when you first check the complex out, but as soon as you sign the contracts, you instantly see that you're literally nothing more than a disposable dollar bill sign to them. They have banners around the property which read that great things are happening at Oakridge, but believe me when I tell you that it is all esthetics, and nothing more than a complete façade. Check out the reviews for Oakridge Apartments in Aurora, Colorado ANYWHERE online... If afterwards you still consider Oakridge Apartments for your next home, you're dumpster diving.
Do not move into Liberty Creek Apartments!! They are infested with bed bugs and roaches! Lived there for 2 days! Bed bugs crawling down from the ceiling and out of outlets! Bed bug feces all over walls! Spare yourself the trauma! Don't move there!!
Don't move here Rene the manager is uncooperative and rude the apartment complex is run down and they only slap on a coat of paint to "fix" it more or less wasting my rent on what I don't know. And don't be fooled if they tell you it's safe cause the cops are always there it's because they are being called there not because they patrol there . In short there are much nicer places in the area for about the same price or cheaper.
These apartments look really nice but looks can be deceiving this place is horrible.management does not care about your problems.work orders never get done and for the simplest things.and on top of that sometimes the office is closed for hours and hours upon times during the day that they say that the office is going to be open.this place is such a joke rent goes up every single time there's a notice on the door and there is a notice on the door 24 hours a day 7 days a week every day that you tend to step foot to your door. Mind you the mailboxes are always being broken into and the sometimes the rent drop.and if you do live here you have to make copies of everything you pay or write cause its always something. Please save your money this place is not worth the headache.
Dont rent here!!! We haven't even been here a month and let me list a few of the things we've had to deal with. First off, the apartment was in horrendous condition upon move in. The carpet had multiple stains in each room, random holes, and wasn't cut to the room measurements leaving gaping, jagged holes between the carpet and wall in every room. There was paint over spray and spill on the baseboards, and all trim as well as the windows. The closet doors were not on hinges and came off the closet when we opened the closets for the first time. The counters in the kitchen had cuts and stains in them. The cupboards had everything from a 1/4" of sugar to partially removed contact paper from previous tenants as well as cooking oil residue on every surface. The knobs were missing on the W/D. There was mold on every bathroom fixture as well as sloppy caulking which left caulk overspill to the point of clogging the drain in the bathroom. That's just the beginning. Next, within the first few days of moving in, my toddler son stepped on a pipe shaving left on the carpet that pierced his foot, causing him to bleed and cry profusely and then came to me with a razor blade randomly left on the carpet. Then, we had the sewage ' main line' back up into our only bathtub. Management seemed 'shocked ' that we called and had no idea of the problem despite it involving several units. They failed to respond immediately, ushering us off the phone, and told us that maintenance would address the problem. Im not even going to describe all the disgusting clean up we as tenants we were left with.Next, the washer dryer flooded our apartment, ruining several valuable antiques still in boxes. The management again was sluggish in responding. Once here the maintenance had the audacity to reprimand us for calling more than once and then dismissed our property damage. And as if that wasn't sufficient, to add insult to at the very minimum injury, we just had our vehicle towed without warning from the complex due to complex management request. Supposedly we were towed because of out of state/ expiration .... we just moved here and haven't even been here 30 days. So, the complex denied culpability as well as the towing company; both passing the buck to one another. We missed work that day and had to pay in excess of $300. Let's add all this up and see, is this place worth the 4000 dollars we have paid out in rent and arbitrary fees? Please don't rent here. I could go on, believe me. They're crooks, and the living conditions are very very unsafe.
We have been staying here since last 1 month and 15 days ( Moved it since 04/28/2013). We were pretty happy with the location, service from the leasing staff, location and the apartment but things started going down within a month. It looks very chic and nice from outside but once you started living here you will definitely feel the pinch.1. Plumbing: Toilet (Toilet/tank is leaking) (4/30/2013) - Toilet was leaking onto floor and after flushing toilet, no water was filling up toilet tank. We called the 24 hour Service Request and they did come and fix it. Actually the person was very nice and tried to contact us numerous times since he had a wrong apartment #.The management called us to check how the apartment was (so we dont move out) and I did tell them about the dishwasher and she placed a request. 2. Dishwasher (Dishwasher is making noise.) (5/10/2013) - The dishwasher was running loud. I have used old models but this sound was scary. I opened a service request to see if something was wrong.3. Oven / range (Burner doesn't turn on) ( 6/5/2013) - The back right burner was faulty and didn't turn on.5. Freezer (Ice making machine) (6/5/2013) - Since the summer started to kick in we started the ice machine. The ice was completely unusable, it has a pungent chemical smell which would make your beverage/water smell funny to the extend that it felt hazardous to consume. We threw away our drink. After servicing too we had to place a next service order today to rectify.6. Blinds (Fell off from the window) (06/05/2013) - It was a morning when my husband was ironing his clothes and wanted to shut the blinds. T7. Dryer (Needs 4 - 60 mins cycles, with oil marks on clothes) ( 06/16/2013 ) - The dryer is again a disaster and needs 4 cycles (60 mins) to complete. It is loud as well and gives me a bad headache after it running for 4 hours. 8. We unfortunately lost the key-card - we agreed on the time on contract that we will need two key-card since we workout different times. They approved it. The time we went for replacement since I lost mine. The new card didn't work went next day and she said that the machine wasn't working (tried 3-4times). When we went the next day to get it fixed. She was very rude when we told her about all these issue we were facing at our current apartment. She started telling us that she did a favor/exception for us by giving the card. We asked her to give in written in case they cannot fix the card issue at that point she went inside reprogrammed and told us that its working perfectly. She made us feel like idiots and also blamed us that we are lying about the whole issue. The leasing staff is very rude and made us feel like we are proposing these unreal issues and treated us very badly. She also told me you can leave this apartment complex if you don't like it, They have this offer where in if you done like the apartment you can move out. I told her was trying to avoid it since it costs us lot of money, time and energy to do so since we have lot of furniture (A truck full). In short, if you rent an apartment here with basic appliances(not upgraded) you will have lot of issues since they are very old, loud, not functioning right, probably hazardous. Also, the staff treats you badly when you tell them their issues. I would say that the servicing is pretty fast but they can not do much help since the appliances are at the end of life. I would never recommend anyone to stay at Savoy. Its the worst apartment complex in terms of maintaining the appliances inside the house and the leasing staff once you are stuck with the lease.
if u have a felony put no on apartment app and they won't even check... but u still have to pay 45$ fee
