If you want everything to be wiped out of your computer, use this Geek Squad. That is what they did to me. Several thousand photos... gone. Many many other priceless pieces of info. Also gone. I do not even recognize my computer it is so different. I am sick!
What a rip off! Charge a $50 service call then quote some outrageous price that no one would pay, then drive to the next house and do it again. Just do that 10 times and you've made $500 a day for NOTHING!They tried to charge my wife $650 to clear a drain! She was in tears! SHAME ON YOU!
Bought a TV for a handicaped elderly lady and paid extra to have it shipped to her and installed. on a certain day (a week in advance). Geek Squad called her after 8 Pm the night before to set a time from 12 - 2 the next day. at 12:15 the next day, she gets a call from them and the guy says (not really caring) " im calling to tell you we are rescheduling your delivery and install for Saturday (5 days later) and i can not guarrantee it will be delivered" he tells her that they are out of stock right now (this is during the window he is suppose to be there to install it. And did i note that the delivery is going to Woodland park Colorado which is by Colorado Springs. Why they are delivering it from Denver and not Colorado Springs is beyond me. I went on line and saw that every store in Aurora, Denver and Colorado springs had the TV in stock. the one on Acadamy has 36 of them. I called the corporate office and told them this was unaccepable as she moved doctors appointments around to be there for the delivery. The lady said that she will try and get someone to deliver it, I gave her a lot of stores to call and she said she will call me back. Day came and went and another day came and went and no call back. Do not buy from them and have it Delivered by the Geek Squad. You are waisting your money and getting a lot of frustration. I still do not know when they will deliver and install the TV. Horrible service and a waist of time.
Bell left my home leaving an invoice stating five large gas leaks, danger of explosion and life loss and $1000-$1200 to repair. The problem is that they left my gas turned on which was my clue. The manager lied to me stating that it was unlawful for them to shut off my gas. Really? So they left my home in an explosive state; nice liability and care for their customers. If they had suggested to me that I should have my gas shut off and informed me that they would do it right then, of course I would have stated yes, which is what was supposed to have happened. I was so surprised by the findings that I didn't register truly what my predicament was until I shared with others. Another company found two gas leaks and did the repairs.When I discussed with the manager, the use of a scare tactic, he tried to excuse his technician and what was clearly written on the invoice due to his ethnicity and lack of communication skills, but then stumped himself by stating that this employee was reliable and had been with them for over five years. What does this tell you???When it comes to integrity and reputation, this company should be embarrassed and wont last.If I was the family owner, I would definitely be looking to replace some people to save the reputation of my company, which I believe was more than likely built on the foundation of integrity at some point, like most family businesses start out.
Bell Plumbing is the absolute worst choice for your home remodeling project. Recently, my 75 year old mother contacted Bell to remodel a secondary bathroom. They brought her into the showroom and talked her into many features that increased costs unnecessarily. One of the Bell designers had a "great" idea for the old linen closet. They said that they had something that would fit just right. They sure did, they talked her into a custom cabinet that required part of the wall to be removed. The cabinet goes from the floor to the ceiling 93 inches. What is my mother going to do with such a tall cabinet. What would I do? They did not supply us with specific measurements nor design. We didn't find out until the cabinet was delivered. Additionally, we tried to change the order once we got a list of the costs [although they would never break it down from materials and labor: I had to figure that part out] and we found out that the TWO cabinets that they ordered cost $3000 combined. We didn't know the actual price until we had put money down for the entire job. They explained that they couldn't make any changes because the cabinets were a "custom" build. There were several blemishes in the cabinet that looked like marks from moving which they stated they would send a representative from the company to come out and look at them. It has been a month and we are still waiting. DO NOT WORK with this company!!!
For my master bathroom remodel the best I can describe my experience with Bell is they are overpriced, have no quality, and add no value to the process. Only one item for the master bathroom remodel was done correctly the first time. So inspect everything that is done. They cover up and tried to hide issues and would never say a word. They have no control over the vendors they use and their quality. They never inspected the work the vendors did on my job.They have been in the business for a long time and cannot provide the steps they use from beginning to end. Also beware as the vendors on my job just showed up and we had no clue as to who they were. More importantly, the vendors were just given an order but provided no additional information from Bell - so be prepared to provide all guidance as Bell will not be there with the Vendor. You are on your own.They will not communicate to the customer and more importantly if you have issues and escalate the issue, the Upper Management will listen to you and then never follow up or talk to you. They do not care about the customer.They have a great sales pitch and flashy showroom but there is nothing beyond the flashy showroom as the quality is in the toilet. Bottom line - AVOID BELL AT ALL COSTS for any service.Alternative: Find the vendors they use and go directly to them. In the end you are working with the vendors directly anyways.
I would give this business 0 stars if it were an option. They were once THE people to call to work on your old boiler, but now they are overpriced and snarky. I was charged over $600 for a one-hour visit to replace a $30 valve. We've called twice to contest the bill. We were told that our efforts to be billed appropriately were the reason their costs were so high. Beware when using them and make sure you understand the costs before you agree to have them come to your home.
This is a great small operation! I was relieved to have same day service on my broken freezer/fridge today! The price was fair and the service honest, knowledgeable, and friendly. I'll definitely call A to Z if I have more appliance problems in the future.
