I had boarded my dog for the weekend and when I picked her up, she smelled like pee as well as her bed. I was disgusted. When I had mentioned that, the owner said it wasn't intentional cause they get used to the smell. I get it, but then he kicked my dog out due to the fact that she jumps. Mind you its a dog day care and they had me pay for the temperament test in order for my dog to be there. I was so confused as to why does my dog get kicked out when dogs jump and has been there a few times prior to this. Very disappointed on how they treated my dog and I. Sad part is that I even heard them laughing about the whole situation with their other clients that were behind me.

My husband took our sweet boy Gage here to get groomed last week and added a deshedding onto the grooming package. When we first picked him up he looked great BUT a few days later we noticed dried blood in his fur and A LOT of it. Upon further investigation, we found scabs covering his body. Obviously someone didn't know what they were doing when they were grooming him. Please do not waste your money here!!

This business needs to work on their communication and customer service skills. Per other reviews, this seems to be a common theme. If a customer leaves your business unhappy, your first response should not be to chastise them. Tread lightly here. They may treat their dogs well, but I cannot say the same for how they treat their customers.

Under no conditions should anyone take their pet to these butchers. And if you do, then you had better get in writing *exactly* what is to be done, and how much it will cost before you leave an animal there. We were quoted $15-20 MAX for a trim for our cat, to remove a couple of knots under his shoulders. When we got him back, they had shaved his entire body, tail included, (and there was no conceivable reason to remotely touch his tail!) along with a bath we didn't ask for or need, and a full clip of his claws that we also didn't need, because it had been done at home two days before, and he was sent home wet because they didn't dry him. He's traumatized from the entire thing. And for all this, we were charged $70. We could have gone elsewhere and had two cats done properly for what this hack job cost us. If I could give negative stars, I would.These people are dishonest, cruel, unethical, and incompetent. Avoid them like the plague.

This is an amazing place to board cats! The owner is so nice and caring. If you are worried about leaving your kitty at home then this is the place to take them.

Our dogs love this place and so do we! We appreciate how much interaction the dogs get not only with other dogs but with the owners as well. Another big plus in the kennels are not cages, they did an excellent job in designing everything to help keep the stress off the dogs when we are away. And every time we take them just for daycare they come home exhausted. This place is awesome and we love they limit how many dogs to ensure each dog gets the attention they need. I recommend this place to everyone!

Very happy with the loving care they provided my 2 dogs when I went out of town! My pom has stayed at a kennel only twice before in her life, and has always been a nervous wreck when I picked her up... BUT this time she was a very happy and content dog after staying at Katz & Dogues! I will definitely be using them again whenever my dogs need a kennel & boarding.

Bark Avenue Pet Salon has something for everyone! At Bark Avenue, your pets are treated like family and the groomers there really take the time to give great quality work and show that they care about the well being and comfortability of each and every pet and pet owner that walks through their door. The business was recently sold to a new owner, Vera Evans (has groomed at Paradise Kennels, Wonderdog Ltd, and A Affectionate Pet Parlor) she purchased the salon off of Rachel Beegle who owned and opperated it for the past four and a half years. Rachel is happy as ever living with her new husband, daughter and step-daughter in Chattanooga TN and left in complete satisfaction and confidence in Vera's ability to make her proud and continue to allow the business to flourish. Leslie R. Morris of Aiken is also a part time groomer at this location. You really can't ask for a better experience for you or your fur-kiid at any groomer.
