My experience at Pathway Connections was a true testament to the name that it carries. It helps individuals like me recconect with the paths that lead to a better future. The principles that were presented by the well qualified staff were ideals to help an individual not only succeed in driving again, but also succeed in life. Affordable shuttle services set this company apart from the pretenders. Its will be clear to anyone that registers for these classes that for this company...making money is not the goal. Helping people rebuild their lives are their main focus. --J.W.

My one year old child and I are participating in the program "1000 books before kindergarten". Today I decided it would be an excellent idea to go to the library. The children's area was nice. I was able to find books easily. Skip about 20 minutes to the real reason I'm writing this review. As I am checking out the books and DVDs. My one year old child is within close range and she is playing. Not being loud of disruptive. The security guard STRATFORD MICHAEL LEE walks over into the middle of the floor and very condescendingly said "get you child this is not a daycare" (as if I didn't know I was in a public library). I grabbed my child's hand and finished checking out books. That comment had a bit unsettled. Once I finished, I went over and asked him his name and his supervisors name. He gave me both. Then added the comment "you make sure you tell them your child was all over the floor, it's on video, make sure you tell him that!"My child never left my line of site. Nor did we violate any policy (I read all 107 pages). He was definitely discriminatory and condescending in both his verbal and non verbal language. I know he is not a reflection of a the library staff because the people that assisted me were nice and polite. I hope no else experience what he made me feel in that moment with is discriminatory and condescending actions.
Child care net work #24 is a really good daycare. The daycare is so structured that I thought it was accrediated, however I learned that they are in the process of getting it. The staff really goes by policy by following all procedures and guidelines. The staff is very attentive to the children needs. The director and assistant director are very involved and they are very familiar with the children. The facility are very clean, and the staff are very friendly, and they are always greeting everyone that enters the facility. I would recommend anyone child to attend the daycare, and I feel very comfortable with my son there. Usually, in other daycares in Augusta, I did not feel comfortable, and he was removed immediately. However, I feel like my son is safe in the daycare, and I don't have to worry or come to them with any concerns. I really appreciate the staff and the directors at the daycare.
Never go there! Ever!!Cons: Very very poor academic focus, they value the bible, black heritage(not meaning this in a racist way), and musician talent more than anything else. If you want ur child to catch up on work that they may be behind on, forget it here. I'd say the only class that was not bad was English. Math being the worst, the teacher didn't even understand what she was teaching! She has a book that she reads out of. She couldnt explain any problem out to help me, she'd give me the answer and tell me to work backwards! This school was ridiculous. I spent my whole summer self teaching myself the rest of math. Health teacher..?..more like a love consultant.Pros: The history teacher was actually educated and taught well, too bad he came towards the end of the year. The English teacher was the headmaster and one of the most kind people out there, she knew what she was doing. All in all the people there were very friendly, just not a wise choice for "teachers".
