Overall
Loved our first experience at ...

Loved our first experience at the Happy Buffet. Food was fresh, lots of choices. Sushi was great, not what the hard core sushi aficianado would order, but lots of different, yummy rolls. Plenty of crab legs, whole crabs, mussels, shrimp and many "chinese resteraunt" favorites... Grandfather Chicken, fresh Hibachi grill, pinapple chicken, spare ribs, shrimp and beef dishes. Fresh fruit, puddings, cake, a lovely egg custard type cake and something called "Sesame Peanut Balls" that were delicious. It was also very clean, the wait staff were prompt and polite, the decor was pleasant, and I loved the asian "easy listening" music! As far as buffets go (and if you like this type of food) this is the best I've been to. If you want "meat and potatoes" go to Golden Corral or the like. I found this to be far superior! A+!

If I could rate lower, I would...

If I could rate lower, I would. This place was beyond disgusting. The broccoli was so gross. The chicken was tough, felt like I was chewing on gristle. The food was just cheap. No kind of authenticity at all. It makes me sick to my stomach that I actually took what few bites that I did before leaving. The general tsos chicken didnt even contain chicken from what i could tell. Dont go here if you have a tongue.

besides my 12 year old calling it mr.happy's,it's all good.being asian and traveling alot, this place is above par for jersey.great mongolian grill, almost as good as the one in reading pa,sushi ok,sashimi good.unlike most places around southern nj,the food is'nt dried out and burnt due to sitting out all day.all in all not a bad place to get your grub on.

Overall
I am very impressed!!

My finace and I have been to almost every Chinese buffet in this area so when this restraurant opened we weren't quite sure if it could replace or even compare to our favorite, but we quickly realized that our "favorite" had been replaced by Happy Buffet!! We have only been there for dinner but they have a large variety of foods to choose from including snow crab legs, shrimp, live oysters, clams, coconut shrimp, shrimp and chicken in a creamy white pinapple sauce(which is our favorite) a Hibatchi grill which has numerous sauces for your noodles, veges and meats and a WONDERFUL sushi bar including sashimi!!! The staff is friendly and the decor is very nice and clean.

Lunch for adults is $6.99 Mon-Thurs, Dinner: $10.99. Fri-Sun dinner is $11.99

Soda/Juice or coffee is $1.59 with free refill. Hot tea is free.

I think that this buffet could become a favorite of many very soon!! 5 stars *****
