Bought a spot bot cleaner. 89.99. Go home, it's defective. Go back to return it (wasting of time!!) they try to blame me for SELLING me a defective unit.
I go to return it, they try to blame it on me for being defective. Either way, I get the money back and have to go buy the more expensive one. Giving them another chance to keep me as a loyal customer, I go to check out and explain the issue, I politely ask if there is anything that can be done to lower the price. She lowers it 2.00. It's still 135.00. I had to use the $20.00 coupon I got from the defective unit to lower the price on this one, even though I wanted to use it for groceries later that week. I am hoping Meijer does something about this incident to get me to come back as a Loyal Customer.
I m very disappointed about the listing phone # for this location. I looked on yellow page for this Meijer location which is 248 393-5110, and it directly took me to the "pharmacy department", which was closed. I called at 6:30pm. And they don't have any option to transfer to any other dept. How stupid it is . How can anyone need to talk to any other dept. could connect?. Shouldn't list any phone # on the first place then.
Pros: Good location. Ample parking. Pharmacy w/ drive thru. 24/7 store hours. Clean. Well lighted. Newly renovated. The stinky bottle return area now has it's own outdoor entrance. Large & small carts. Stocks some of everything, similar to Walmart. General items are easy to find. Meijer stocks organic versions of many items. Returns are easy. It's a big store; I can feel somewhat anonymous when shopping. This is good for the days when you don't feel like engaging with a shop owner, or the usual teller at a neighborhood grocer.
Cons: Some of the health foods that Meijer stocks are placed here and there throughout the store.. not the easiest to find. Meat is not Meijer's forte.
