I wish I would have listened to people before purchasing stuff from art van. We just bought a new house and purchases over $5000 of new furniture. It has now been delivered TWICE and taken back because EVERY piece was damaged. This has been the most disappointing experience as now we are unable to move into our house because we have NO FURNITURE! If you want a HORRIBLE experience and damaged, over priced furniture art van is the place for you!!!

I recently ordered a vanity desk with a mirror from art van in auburn hills. We asked the salesman if this was a complete set multiple times and he replied with yes and even checked 2 times. They said it would be there by Tuesday at the latest. Well it ended up coming on Friday and the lady who answered the phone was so rude and disrespectful when we asked when it was coming in because we never received a call it would be late. Then when we brought it home it was just the mirror and the top of it which was just the hutch with 2 tiny desks. Why would anyone just buy that when they ordered a whole set. So we called and again the rude lady answered and told them and they said that's what we paid for. Again why would anyone just buy a hutch with nothing to put on and a 12 by 12 mirror for 250 dollars. The managers at this art van are very disrespectful also and rude yelling at us on the phone when it was really the salesman fault which he owned up too. Very angry for a plethora of reasons and we are never buying items from your terrible store ever again. You all are dumb who don't know your products. I bet they couldn't name ten things in your store because all they do is walk around all day acting like they know everything. So maybe employ people who actually know how to work. That would be nice being able to talk to a human being that knows what they are talking about.



OK I don't know about these ot...

OK I don't know about these other guys, but I am very happy with Art Van in Auburn Hills. The sales associate, Sharon, was friendly and professional and attentive from the minute we walked in the door. I purchased the couch in May of 2011. Unfortunately seven months later one section got a sag. I was upset but calm and called Art Van. They sent a guy out and he immediately ordered a replacement which they delivered at our convenience. Not happy about the structural problem, but if they made it right what can you say?

Today we went back to buy a mattress set, and we had been offered help three times by the time we got to the mattress section. The sales associate, Jeff, who helped us was awesome. Even after he finished the sale he sat and visited with me for a few minutes in the lounge chairs while my wife finished the paperwork. It probably didn't hurt that he had a recently healed broken foot and needed to get off it for a sec, but he shared his sales philosophy with me and I found him very entertaining. We get treated like friends when we go there and we will keep going back.

I was in the Art Van at Great Lakes Crossing in Auburn Hills Michigan on March 2nd with my finance and 2 kids. We walked around for about a half hour before anyone even looked or said hi to us. When the sales rep came over he asked if I had any questions and I said yes I want to know more about the bedroom sets. I asked a question and he answered in a very short response and then I turn to ask my finance something and then turned back and he was walking away. About 20 minutes passed as I sat in front of this bedroom set I wanted to buy. He never came back and I could see him half way across the showroom standing there talking with another employee. There were probably 10 sales reps just all spread out and talking to each other. There was almost zero traffic in the store. I was probably one of the 5 customers in the store. Not one person ask to help us or said hi for the matter. Besides the kind of rude guy who answered my questions and then ran. Needless to say I wanted to buy the bedroom set right then and there but no one would help us. I also wanted to buy a king size mattress set. I loaded the car up and drove to Gardner White where as soon as we walked in we had 2 sales reps helping us out. I ended up buying a complete bedroom set and mattress set for about 4k. I have bought items at ArtVan in the past and I am very disappointed about my experience yesterday.

I am the finance director for Mercedes Benz so I know about customer service and It wasn’t even close at ArtVan
