Nicky M. Hakimi, DDS, MDS

On Friday, November 20, 2020 the world lost an incredible dentist. Dr. Hakimi was an amazing, honorable person who was passionate about dentistry. She knew how to put her patients at ease and was skilled at implants and all that came with the task at hand. In my many years working with dentist I have NEVER felt comfortable around them. She was the first Dentist that I looked forward to going to! She performed a few surgeries on me and I felt safe in her wise hands. She would often share glimpses into her active life. I enjoyed hearing stories about her adventures outside of the dentist office.

She spoke a variety of languages: English, French, Spanish and Farsi are the ones I know of. Her dogs came to work with her and mostly stayed in her private office often sleeping. She loved those two dogs as if they were her human babies. Both dogs were well behaved and quiet. I found it comforting to see the dogs when I had an appointment. People that are kind to animals tend to be kind to humans too. In this case, it proved true. We collectively mourn the loss of a wonderful woman who has inspired so many.

I was referred to Dr. Hakimi thru my dentist, Dr. Shane Panter (who also is fantastic!)



The office staff was very professional and accommodating. I was late due to traffic, but they still kept my appointment. The dental assistant was friendly, professional and was easy to talk with about my gums/teeth, etc. She talked to me as a friend would and at one point even stated that if I were her sister/friend, she would adives me "such and such" way regarding a particular choice I needed to make. I felt very at ease and comfortable.



Upon meeting Dr. Hakimi, he was friendly, straightforward, personable and most importantly to me, genuine. He spoke very sincerely and with warmth and concern. His positive attitude gave me confidence that the procedure I was facing,(gum surgery, OUCH!!!) would turn out just fine. He demeanor was reassuring. Again, I felt as if I were among friends.



Dr. Hakimi and his assistant answered all my questions, taking time to explain things I wasn't totally clear about.

Knowing how costly this type of dental work can be, they're working with me financially and are being (more than) fair about the billing for certain procedures.



Ok, I've gone on long enough. Suffice to say, this was a positive experience, deserving of an exceptional rating. And yes, I would recommend Dr. Hakimi and Dr. Panter to anyone and everyone. BUT you have to to let me use you as a referral if you do see them. I'll get a whitening treatment!!! :-) :-) :-)!!!
